    The "Violent Nomad Workout" is a 4-part exercise regimen that improves the muscles used during gross motor skills. Why is this important? Because if you're ever in a crisis, you'll have the strength, energy, and preparation for when a good day goes bad.

    I work in the Florida Department of Corrections for 15 years. I've seen some very out of shape inmates beat the living s*** out of ones you thought would never lose the fight. Sometimes it's more about Will. That being said it's always a good idea to stay in good physical fitness but never ever underestimate an opponent.

    Elliot hulse had a video a few years back that the only four exercises you need to.build practical strength and look good was the deadlift, front squat, pull up, and dips.
    This cover the basice human movements, scalable based with weight if needed.
    I was thinking that it was missing some endurance component, which this program incorporates.

      You should vary your squats to engage your hamstrings. They are foundational for jumping and stabilizing and also prevent knee injuries. They also trigger the release of more hormones and endorphins than the quads.

    Why not just lift heavy and get strong. Make it a goal to bench 315. If you can lift heavy, you probably can do that other stuff easy.

    • @freneticfanatic
      @freneticfanatic 4 роки тому +1

      Bench pressing 315 is a worthy goal. It would probably more useful to be able to deadlift 495, squat 405 and do HIIT on a prowler loaded with 225 after.
      It's good to make sure you can at least do 10 bodyweight chinups and run 400m under 75 seconds.
