Playing through the Halo Campaigns on Legendary with your friends and finding the locations these play at is magical. I got to the one on The Covenant and we got to take a pause there and listen to it for minutes while we messed around before finally moving on with the amazing mission
This is actually perfect when putting the song on loop for the most part. Regarding the song itself, I am not really familiar with the origins, but at least know now that the creator of this song Marty will be remembered in Bungie's Halo games (and other Bungie games in general if it is present in them.) It is a beautiful piece of work and should definitely be recognized more. I only wished it made it beyond Halo Reach in the Halo universe, but finding in it in the Bungie room at least seems like a fitting place to end it. Bungie, your work in the Halo Franchise will never be forgotten!
Don't know if you found out yet but the origin for this song is from a game Bungie made in the past. An RTS game known as Myth: The Fallen Lords. A youtuber by the name of MandaloreGaming covered the game along with a few other classic titles of Bungie, Marathon and Pathway into Darkness.
