Hi mate, great heaters the Thermotec ASHP's. Just be aware, that in the winter, I don't think they run if the outside temp is -5c or below, unless it's the inverter type. Would it be possible to paint the grow on with the 2 pack pond paint. That's water proof. Take care, Terry.

This would be way better for your pond because its 4kw the more power it has the less its on yes it costs abit more up front but will save you a fortune in the future as this is suitable for upto 10,000l 👍 I'm surprised how cheap it is its cost me less than £5 for 2 months 👍
Hi push your K1 media down to the water line to get it submerged or because you won't be filtering effectively there will be a gap at the bottom allowing cylinder all the crap to pass the media .👍

Yeh that's there only down fall but if it gets that cold I might stick a greenhouse heater in it as the top will be enclosed 👍

Hows it been holding in the cooler temps lately and what gallonage is pond mine will be 5k galls but virtaully inside fully enclosed
