Hi Phil. Great video as usual. You definitely need to increase the holes (number and size) in the spray bar. If you want this to work as a bakki shower you will need approx 10,000 litres per hour to get the gasing off affect. If you run it with 3/4000 litres it will be a trickle filter.
It's a thing of beauty phil, you did a great job. I had no doubt whatsoever, that your pipe work would fit too, and it's a lovely sound of water for those warm summer days. Enjoyed it phil, good work .
Ar Bin Ya Phil, absolutly cracking job there mar mate , its that shiny the fish will use it as a vanity mirror 😂. Bostin video buddy & a cracking flow 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Fine piece of pipe engineering there Phil. Flow rates over bakki are always a hot bed of discussion. I run my 20k vari at 30% 24/7 all summer. I have a blade rtn during summer and a 2inch wall rtn thru winter so maybe dialled back to 25% to stop backwash over lower tier top lip. I can use both rtns if need be my bakki is in the filter house. Any thoughts on noise? Re the neighbours. Your fishes appetite will go up imo thats what i noticed when i set up mine. Ps very shiny 😎 😂
Water clarity is great Phil. That ro is doing a great job. How many litres ph is that pump and are shower trays 50 cm in length? Looks plenty at 10 %. Thanks
Evening Shaun 🖐. It’s a 12,000 lph Oase Aquamax classic C (basically a vari-pump). It was brand new but unwanted, got it off Facebook marketplace for £100 so bit of a bargain. I was looking for the 18,000lph version but turns out that would have been massively overpowered 😊👍
Awesome stuff Phil, done to absolute perfection, id expect nothing less🙏
Thank you Si, much appreciated 😊👍

Thank you, looks like I’ll be getting the drill out at the weekend 😊👍
great video best thing I ever did was fit my Baki shower water is spot on and I can see the bottom of my pond which is 6 feet deep
Excellent, I’m hoping mine will give me that little bit more clarity and filtration 🤞🤞🤞
Looks great, I used 8mm holes on mine, What pump are you using?
I’ve only drilled 6mm holes in at present but consensus seems to be increase to 8mm. Pump is a 12,000lph Oase Aquamax classic C (controllable)😊👍

Hi Anthony, the tray is 60cm and the pump is 12,000lph😊👍
