Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 сер 2018
- For 2019, the Jeep Cherokee has been updated. With refreshed styling, a revised interior, and a new turbocharged engine option the Cherokee is better poised to compete with compact SUV luminaries like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. In this video Kelley Blue Book’s Micah Muzio ventures through suburbia and into the wilderness to see how Jeep's updated Cherokee fares .

The "MID CYCLE REFRESH" graphic came up and I immediately went "Oh, this is a Micah video"
The Lynn's Foot Glovebox Test should be a thing.
Put this guy for all of the videos
And the girl with the feet
I'm soo glad your back man!!!
The hosts' presentation style is damn good! Fun yet informative enough to not get distracted. Great work!
this was one of my favorite kbb reviews “off roaders say meander right?” and “how do you file an hr complaint about a car” were super funny and the whole thing was very well written. keep up the good work!
Love your reviews, keep up the good job.
I had a 2014 and just upgraded to the Trailhawk 2019 with a 4 cyl turbo and LOVE it!
Micah is the absolute best personality in most of the car review outlets right now!
Yessss Micah is finally back
Thank you Micah for another enjoyable video.
Finally you are back.
Love mine, 2 years and not a single issue!!
Micah, I agree competently with your mention the Cherokee's limited steering column adjustment. Every time I have driven the Cherokee, I am put off by the "too high" steering wheel.
Adjusting the seat higher is NOT an acceptable measure to compensate, because then the arm rests fall out of natural alignment with my posture.
Mate, you are awesome. Loved the review. I think you have me sold.
Micah is back 😎🙌🏼
Have my Trailhawk for a year now and I just love it
Rented this for a road trip, loved it! Really comfortable & drives great!
Had only 64kmiles when all the problems started Had 6months no power steering trans went out engine shakes(3.2v6) front windows don't roll down the front sway bar links bent at 3mph and the ac already Went out and on top of that there is no after market support 0/5 this jeep had so many problems it got the point something would break almost every time I drove it so I didn't drive it and got a truck
@@sevarudov1724 Love mine!
I love this car so much..
Yes Micah!
Love the cutaway at the end. Is it really off roading when you're at an off road park?
I’m relieved to see you in this video Micah, i watched the last one and was like noooooo....
I bought new my 2.0 turbo trailhawk yesterday, today I am very happy, even the color Green olives I like very much, I live in California in Newport Beach, California there are many roads off the road, in spring I go for my first test. Thanks for the great video, sorry my English I've only been living in Newport beach for 6 years, I'm deaf, I have a cochlear implant. Thank you. Mauro
Mauro B .. very good comment ...hope u enjoy ur new Jeep. I.ve driver Jeep Cherokee Ltd for 18 hrs...looking for another Jeep now...👍
Mauro B still going good ?
This is the first video I've seen on this channel and the production quality is unreal! Holy smokes.
Micah's got his lumbar.
You have great reviews that make me laugh a little!!
Great review
That glove compartment bit was as creepy as it was hilarious. Bravo.
A bizarrely deep love... uh.. glove box.
@@hlcepeda penis.
Yeah imagine getting your legs crushed in there mid-accident. Not a smart idea to keep them in there for a long ride haha.
I bought jeep cherokee latitude plus last saturday. I love it. the outlook, the 3.2L engine, everything is cool. out of my three suv(infiniti qx60, bmw x5 and jeep), I like the new jeep most!
Mine is 8 days old. Loving it!
Watch for transmission issues! My wife and I leased a 2019 back in 2018. Currently seeking lemon law status because we continually have transmission problems. The first problem was a 5 second delay when shifting it to drive from either park or reverse (after a complete stop). It would jerk and lunge and the rpms would rev up like it was still in neutral. All details aside, we have less than 7k miles on it and can’t wait to get rid of it!
Ps ours is a Latitude Plus with the v6 just like yours.
Could you give us an update on how the vehicle has turned out so far? I'm thinking about buying a 2019 Cherokee.
@@bpeterson89 Jeep has had transmission issues since the 1980's! APPALLING. No thanks.
My family got me the 2019 'Limited' model with the basic 4-cylinder in January 2019. It's stalled twice in the last month. Never keeps the settings I program in. The lumbar support suddenly no longer supports, or even moves. The hi-beams are ridiculously easy to turn on and I accidentally do so constantly while turning on the turn signals. The A/C system is weak (My old PT cruiser was better and stronger, and it was a 2002 basic model), it's constantly changing gears and never seems quite sure what gear to be in, plus it has a huge delay in changing gears if you do sudden throttle or brake movements (Romp on the gas for example, and you're looking at a full second before it figures out it should do something) plus it has only a bit more oomph than my old 2002 PT cruiser with less horsepower. The headrests have some secret latch or something so I can't remove them so I can put on seat covers, and the felt-like covering in the cargo area turns it into a slip-and-slide for grocery bags. Nothing like taking a leisurely turn at a mosey and hearing the week's food go for a joyride. Oh, and the power day/night rearview mirror that does nothing a normal mirror doesn't is twice the size of my old PT's and blocks a big chunk of the forward view. Big enough to block other cars big.
You need to test all the glove boxes like this! It needs to become the standard unit of measurement for the industry Micah I think you just had a breakthrough
How reliable is the jeep Cherokee? I know there are still at least 2 2020 Cherokee's in my area and I'm considering trading my 2018 Ford focus. I need a vehicle for crossing a shallow river at a vacation home.
Maybe there’s a switch for the vibration part of that seat?? Oh,only in the optional list.
Welcome back Micah.
I have a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk Elite and love it- except for the on/off feature which I disabled with an aftermarket module.
When are you gonna makes a new 1024 series called the Warren series
You had me at bizarrely deep glove-box.
He’s back!
We had a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited and we loved it! Wish we would've kept it cause it's a vehicle we could never afford
informative and hysterical
Love your videos, Micah! Unfortunately the wifey and I leased a 19 Cherokee. Currently in the process of determining if it qualifies as a lemon. Not even 7k miles on it yet and already had 5 visits back to the dealership for transmission issues. Can’t say I’d recommend this one!!!
bpeterson89 wow! I was thinking about leasing one too.
@@blackeagle030 Chrysler has been absolutely horrible throughout this Lemon Law process. They didn't respond in over two months to any of my requests so I was forced to get an attorney involved. They have since replied to me but I have yet to have a complete resolution yet. This Jeep being a Lemon did not solely bury my confidence in Chrysler, it has been dealing with corporate. I will never buy or lease any Chrysler product ever again. I cannot wait to get rid of this Jeep and move on with life.
WHY can't they CORRECT their transmission issues?? Been going on for DECADES.
What does the button under the hill descent control button do?
No mention of the available Hemi?
Just bought mine 4 days ago. Beautiful. Perfect so far.
Titan and Tundra Jimenez-Urso still loving it? I bought mine today, delivered on Monday.
@@MrsMrMoney yup. No issues
I use sport mode when I want a little more "power" pretty quick compact SUV crossover
Who cares? Get back to us in 3-5 YEARS.
How is your Jeep holding up now? I’m contemplating during getting one transferred‼️
i can't wait to drive one.
Well all the women will love that fan very much...
Chris Cardoza
Hahaha
Chris Cardoza lol
chris. not just the ladies!
XD I'm a bottom, I'd love it too.
FantomLightning lol
Been waiting for this one! Thanks, guys!
Just wandering if you do take it off road will they stand behind all the problems that come with off roading it..
Chris Cardoza Depends on what the problems are.
I don’t know what it is but I love the Cherokees off road!
Had only 64kmiles when all the problems started Had 6months no power steering trans went out engine shakes(3.2v6) front windows don't roll down the front sway bar links bent at 3mph and the ac already Went out and on top of that there is no after market support 0/5 this jeep had so many problems it got the point something would break almost every time I drove it so I didn't drive it and got a truck
review the grand cherokee srt!
How does one go about obtaining a job like this?
I just purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4. Wow, what a great riding 4x4. Suspension is sweet and the backup navigation screen and heated seats and steering wheel are very nice. But I still like a CD player but will download my German music.
I thought the same before but with Android auto and apple car play don't need it I use free apps from Spotify and Iheartradio
ALWAYS want a CD player. Chrysler morons!
Please give an update on how it’s riding now? Any major repairs?
is there a cb radio option
What is the reliability?
Micah, your humor is like next level, and I love it. You are too funny...HR complaint. I was so done when you said that and several Mississippi. Micah, you are truly awesome and colorful.
I like Jeeps but they need to get their quality together
I like it
Then get in one, drive one, simply look at one and your cliche response will fall by the wayside of all the other knee jerk responses.
Owned a 2016 model and jus upgraded to 2019 model. I más my old 2016 I think the design was unique. This new model is much quieter and the stereo is better everything else is great. Never had a problem will see how this 2019 model does. I’m thinking on keeping this for a while.
How has your Jeep held up?
I'm thinking about purchasing one. Please update us.
where do you get your Tshirts?
I was wondering the same thing
The words investment and car should never be used together when discussing a new vehicle. A car is a purchase. That purchase will always rapidly depreciate if you use it and if you don't it will still depreciate for the next 40 years.
AU9377 yeah but you could say you are “investing” in a new laptop in the sense that it will help you get more work done, even though a laptop is also a usually depreciating asset
@@JoeBidenEnthusiast Agreed. Investing doesn't always need to mean "money" and actual investmenting. It can simply mean investing in something that will help you get productive for example in the long run.
Sick T-shirt !!!
The Jeep is more then its looks, if you're buying it for an investment, very few if any at all make will make it past its 5th to 6th year...without some major issue!! They are the least of all SUV's that will fail you--without exception! Their engine and drive train will simply fail you!! There's no reason to lie, their great as new, but it will be short lived, no matter what you do!! So, save your money!!!
Absolutely!
Looks good
I love your reviews & I drive a Camry LOL
The Forester has 8.7 clearance too!
Can you do Mazda CX-5 and the new Kia 😁
I want a jeep Cherokee so bad 🥺
I have the latitude, Only Thing I don’t like is the lack of stereo controls on the steering wheel
Micah & Lyn are the dream reviewing team
Seat fan too loud?
Yay Micah!!!
I bet this would be a much better overall jeep for the wrangler drivers who never go off road
Yes! I love your non bias opinion😒😒
I loved this people, especially review and touring new vehicle
Need offloaded to confirm if they use these words.
Galavant. Adding that to my rural vocabulary.
Very nice presentation. Who knew Jeep could make a decent car?
"I like you Cherokee, but I don't LIKE YOU like you."
Is it somewhat reliable?
Somewhat? That's a relative term. And compared to VERY RELIABLE, it absolutely sucks.
Lyn's foot made me lol.
MADE ME JIZZ
@@jagicyooo2007 Because you're pathetically immature.
I’m hoping this vehicle is better than 2018 model
Think I will go with the 4 Runner.
Smart move.
I don't understand the U.S standards... if the cherokee is compact, what is the compass? And the renegade?
Renegade is a sub-compact. The Compass is a in betweener. Slightly bigger than Renegade but smaller than the Cherokee.
@@afiqbazlibusairi Compass is crap, stay very far away.
I believe , this is a car that was designed with previous Subaru Forester in mind. There is just so much resemblance.
Could we have a jeep full size suv ?
Caio Caldas they prob will introduce one soon
I think you talk about the wagoneer, but it's a mid size suv what i want a jeep suv share with Dodge ram pickup truck platform.
I died when she put her whole leg in the glove box 😂
Please review the new version of the BMW x3
Thanks Micah! Can’t wait for the NEW 2019 Rav 4 Reviews! That’s what I have to say. lol
gene978 😧
90% based off the Maserati Lavante six-figure luxury vehicle platform and designed by those engineers with nearly the same everything. Go look up one it’s the same interior, materials, screens, switches, buttons, placement, transmission, Maserati has the 3 L turbo built by Ferrari and Jeep has the 2 L turbo designed by Ferrari but factory built.
I’m concerned with keeps quality and longevity
I bought a new one in 2014. Everything about it was great good seats good looks good power best SUV ever bought. But now the bad news it was broke down all the time and cost me a fortune and repairs. Stuff like the GPS went out oil leaks the wheels wouldn’t come off had to take it in have a special tool just to get the Lugnuts off. Oh my god what a nightmare.
No thanks.
How about they fix the hideous grill?
indonesia price
Cool
How is 20/29 not good with that decent power 🤔 that's what 4 bangers get
Those square wheel arch moldings are the only not so pretty thing
These cars (Grand as well) do so well in Mexico and South America that have flash floods, un paved and narrow roads, horrific accidents that require you to jump a curb or two to bypass congestion and flashier options like Range Rover and Benz will get you mugged.
Did you just say features includes air conditioning... like we are in an era that cars may not come with a/c as standard.
Did he really say air conditioning comes standard on the latitude trim😂i know it’s a Jeep but air conditioning is kind of a given😂
Peter Guardino noticed other car review guys have said the same thing....bout ac ..rly?.?. Lol
It’s not standard in some of the cheaper models believe it or not 🤦♂️
Unless you plan to tackle the Rubicon Trail every week, buy a Subaru. It will be more comfortable and reliable and has the same ground clearance as the Trail Hawk.
Did they fix all the problems yet? I doubt it.
