Why would anyone want one to think they have a house cleaner? I would rather to pride in my clean house as doing it myself 😊 Thank you so much for the great content ⚘
Tip, clean floors LAST because all the first and grime drops to the flor so when you’re done cleaning and you cleaning the floors its fully clean but if you clean them first it is going to be dirty
It's not brilliant or creative but really good to watch these things in lists. Thanks. I'm about to clean my room, and this helped me a lot with making a cleaning to-do list.
Incredible! What a brilliant idea, and it's truly satisfying to observe these things presented in lists. Thank you. This will great assist in creating a comprehensive cleaning to-do list and be of immense help.
As always, another 'tasty' video! I have watched your videos on time management and getting organized. I swear, I am going to get up and not bing watch your videos (this is hard.) I can't blame you for MY procrastination. So up and moving I go! I will bing watch this evening. Than you again. All the best. Until later...😊
A cleaning service is going to do it all if they give you enough time! Some people expect so much but not enough time to do it! It's sometimes hard to leave things when you personally want perfection but sometimes you have to rotate certain things or leave them and tell the client why. Even the most competent cleaner can't perform miracles!
Hello Angela which of the following laundry boosters is most effective in cleaning and brightening laundry: 1. Baking soda 2. Borax 3. Washing soda 4. Oxiclean
Meguiars amzn.to/3FF3Aso or Weymans amzn.to/3awx3GB are both great products and both can be found at Home Depot cheaper than you can find on Amazon. But this is what you're looking for.
Hello, I have a house like that, I charged by the hour because this person lived in the country side so dust was always present in....wait for it...245+ picture frames 😳....so dusting was what takes most of the time.
suzpayne Coming from a pet fur wrangler: dyson vac comes in handy for sucking up fur. Instead of shooing the hair away, the vac says, “come to mama!” Continual maintenance with a vacuum and swiffer dusting helps in between cleanings.
Hi. Iam currently cleaning for a cleaning company and they are taking 70% of my earnings. Iam wanted to start cleaning offices and was wondering if u had any pointers on how I could pick up my own work? Thank u!
The overhead on running a business is quite high. The average in the industry is 60% rather than 70%. I'm wondering if they might adjust that a bit or explain the costs. It's possible that the advertising is more expensive where you live etc. Before you branch out on your own, do your research to find the costs of running a cleaning business (and include if you hire people.) There are hidden costs like taxes and Workers comp, insurances, advertising, accounting, payroll, cleaning chemicals, vehicles, vehicle insurance, vehicle service and repairs, broken or damaged items, etc. When you run the numbers and divide it by the hours required to get the job done - it's often a better deal (Way better deal) to just show up and do the work, collect the money and go home.
But when you say clean all flat surfaces does that mean “clean” them? Like vacuum the stairs, dust the end tables? Or does that just mean “clear” them of clutter.
The first step should always be top dusting. You missed that step! Fans, and vents and room corners/edges for con webs. Light fixtures as well. Anything with ledges really. A lot of dirt falls down when you top dust so you do that first and then clean the surface area second.
Looking forward to the mopping video, a few of our clients have entire downstairs flooring that is white tile which shows ALL the fluff and dirt. We sweep and then mop, but it is quite back aching! Unfortunatelty their hoovers just don't suck up the dirt on hard floors unlike my dyson at home. Also, any tips for wooden flooring, do's and don'ts of cleaning them? Thank you.
I know most house cleaners say use clients vacuum. Most clients have terrible vacuums! I am a little obsessive about vacuuming and I am in love with my Mile. It’s the little compact C2 jasper power line. It does not come with a beater bar for carpets but can be purchased. I have all hard floors with 2 large dirty fuzzy dogs, a 5year old boy, a boyfriend, and we live in the country. This vac can keep up with my house no problem. It’s small enough to travel with, and uses bags so I can easily contain the yuck.
Nanci E. I can’t figure out a link but I did spell it wrong before. Miele (brand) and it’s the Compact C2 Jasper Powerline. Pronounced Me-la. I bought mine from a local dealer. It’s a canister and you can buy a separate carpet attachment with the beater bar. The floor head that comes with can be used on carpets and is pretty effective without the beater bar (brush roller). I would just google search Miele near me, and see if you have a dealer near you. They will be able to demonstrate all the features etc. and offer service. Mine came with a 3 year full service warranty. These vacuums use bags but it’s part of the filtering process. I wasn’t sold on the idea of bags until I started researching and realized if all the crud goes into a bag then I’m not contaminating my vac (as much) with other peoples yuck. Hope that helps!
How long would it typically take a cleaning service to perform these tasks? I'm looking at my house thinking it would take me at LEAST an hour per task--so five hours minimum?! 😂😢😭
@nothavingit643 it depends on the size of the home and the shape the home is in. The key is to maintain the spaces once cleaned so it takes minutes, not hours each time the area is tidied up. 😍

De cobwebbing (is that even a word although I say it all the time at work 😂) is a big one of you want to make people think you use a cleaning service. Dead give away if you have webs about, even more so if they are grey from dust as that means they've been there for sometime!
Where the heck are we going to put the garbage bags? Not everyone has a holding area, and I wouldn't be putting it in my car and taking away 🤮 Also, what about cleaning the inside and outside if garbage?
Where do you put the garbage bags now? When family comes over, we line all the garbage bins with extra liners so if a family member or party guest empties a full trash, there are extra liners at the bottom of the bin so they don't have to rummage through shelves and cupboards looking for a replacement.

Amazing tips Angela, as always. I have a question, how do you deal with houses with too many decorations (figurines, pictures, vases, etc.)?
