OH NOOOO, you forgot the CALDREA - and the link!
Hello Angela am JFRANK from Africa Ghana please am get asking if you can buy me chemicals in us 🇺🇸 thanks? I want to be the best clean in Ghana 🇬🇭 thanks?
Thank you thank you!! Your information is so well put together!! It’s no wonder you’re so successful !you’re probably clean as thorough as you are with your products thank you so much!
Can you do a video on cleaning historic homes. Lots of stone, wood, tight corners.
That would be a great video since many of them are drafty, have leaks that let in bugs and have aging materials that can erode with the wrong chemical solution. Thanks for mentioning this.
Yes please do a video on historical homes
Yes, please!
@@AskAngelaBrown we cleaners in historic colonial America will greatly appreciate this! Thank you in advance.
Yes, I’ll have to look to see if there’s a video for this seeing as it’s been awhile for this request. I just moved into a home built in 1870, which of course is not the oldest here in Massachusetts, but still considered “historic” in the seaside city I’ve moved into. I think the hardwood floors may be the original and those I’m interested in not ruining. I did buy the concentrate for Mrs. Meyer’s, but in the bluebell scent which is very mild, but forgot it the day I was cleaning the floors so I tried to buy the most mildest, low ingredient product at the Dollar Tree and bought Ajax multi-purpose Citrus & Eucalyptus concentrate, I mopped the floors and then did a mop with warm water just to make sure there wasn’t any residue left behind and it did a great job, and it was damp microfiber mopping with both the cleaner and warm water, as a lot of water is not good for the hardwood, as you know of course haha. Or really most floors, as I used my steam mop on a high setting because another place I lived had filthy vinyl fake wood floors, and it unfortunately damaged parts of the floor due to the amount of water. In the future I will be using the cleaner for the counters, cabinets, quick clean ups, etc. But, I also want to try Sal’s Suds as I forgot about that cleaner. Thank you for your videos and sorry for rambling.
Thank you for your research and time in making this video. I really appreciate it. Terrific channel 🌺
As usual, thank you for your clear and detailed explanations. So helpful.
Wow Thank you so much Angela for breaking them all down.
Excellent video. Thank you so very much for mentioning which products are cruelty free!
The way you talk is so soothing. It made me listen and take it all in. Thank you!
Wow, thank you for your kind words I appreciate this! 😊
Love your videos. You really are interesting to listen to and explain things thoroughly. Thank you!
Great video Angela! Super happy that Mrs. Meyers/Caldrea & Dr. Bronners made your top 10 list. As a home owner, I use these products everyday and love them! :)
April, Yay! I’m so glad you like these products too. 😊
Thanks Angela, I’m happy Mrs. Meyers made your list. I love it! I’m going to try Sal suds, I like the other Dr. Bronners products.
You are so welcome! Hope you like it and thanks for watching. 😊
Thank you for taking the time to explain the importance of following the manufacturer's instructions when using chemicals, it's a very common thing that people asume their "mix" is safe and "effective" when it's not.
I use the Lysol multisurface cleaner just because it's the one always available in the supermarket, the price is not too high either and the scent is ok, but I wouldn't say is the best one I have tried. I mainly use it in to clean the kitchen. I think I have seen the Mrs. Meyers one before so I might give it a go next time. Thank you for your recommendations!
Excellent video!! Thanks so much for sharing this info Angela!!
Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching. 🙂
I found this information to be VERY interesting AND helpful!!! Thanks so much for sharing the science behind it ~ good to know! Your channel is terrific, Angela!!!👍👍👍
Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. And thanks for watching. Sending hugs. 🤗
From watching make up and skincare video tutorials to watching all your videos and I’m hooked! So informative and detailed! Thank you it helps me a lot!
Yay! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! 😊👍
I know your vanity is beautiful 😂😂😂
I love love love this video. I must admit that for a long time I did experiment and mix up my own concoctions from time to time. I’m not a professional chemist, but I did enjoy chemistry in my youth and knew enough to not do anything really dumb when I was mixing. I also had a good relationship with the company I bought my products from and I could always double check with them if I had any questions. But I stopped doing that for the most part because I realized that it set a bad example for my cleaners, they had no idea the precautions I took, so I didn’t want them to think that mixing things for the sake of curiosity was safe. Now I might add a little vinegar to something plant based if I need my all purpose to cut through some unexpected thick grime, but that’s about it. I’m glad you included Dr. Bronner’s in your list, I love the stuff
Ben, Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on the video topic. I appreciate it! 👍
Great video. Very informative. Thank you
Thank you, Angelia, for sharing these very useful cleaning products that are 100% safe for families across America, especially when it comes to our children and pets to keep them safe and Corona. I am a huge fan of Dr Bronners and Meyers Products. My son was diagnosed with Asthma and Exema at birth. I didnt know what options to take but I knew that over the counter medications that had harmful chemicals wasnt going to help. So I turned to natural food and natural products which saved his life. Thankfully, my son is now 13 and is no longer suffering with asthma, allergies, or exema. I am keeping a clean environment for my family. In addition, I do stress the importance of implementing healthy habits. Now, I have become actively involves as a Health Coach to help others develop healthy habits. Your life and family is worth investing in good healthy lifestyle. Be safe out and much love from my family to yours.
Thanks Athena for your kind words and for sharing your story. I'm so thrilled to hear that you son responds better to earth friendly products. We teach in our house cleaner training that the deep clean of a home may need stronger products to cut the grime, lime, rust etc. And then maintenance products can most often be used thereafter to maintain the clean. When it comes to cleaning chemicals, less is more. :-)
Such a great video, thank you so much.
Apparently back in the 70s my Dad tried to mix ammonia and bleach to clean the bathroom with. Mom said he almost passed out from the fumes. Lesson learned!
I'm glad your dad was okay because mixing ammonia and bleach can produce very harmful fumes
Great information! Thank you! The EWG is an organization I wouldn’t trust, found that out from couple different sources, one was a podcast hosted by 2 chemist. Worth looking into.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and for sharing this information!!
I love your product reviews Angela. One of your recommendations has saved me so much time and work in my business! Thank you so much!
Which one??
That’s wonderful! I appreciate you letting me know. 👍
Hi Angela. Can you do a video for your top 10 floor cleaners?
I took notes 📝.
Thanks for this list of goodies.
You are so welcome! So glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your information. I will be trying some of this in my house .
Keep me posted on how they work out for you. 👍
Enjoyed this video, the only product that I’ve used from your list is the Mrs. Meyers brand, the multi purpose cleaner and also the hand soap and dish washing liquid. The scents are awesome!
That's wonderful! Thanks for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! 🤗
I had no idea that Puracy makes a household cleanser! I use their shampoo because it's the only one I've found that I'm not allergic to and also works. I'll definitely have to give them a try! 👍🏻
They're an awesome choice! Let me know if you like the product.
This is another great video! This channel is awesome! I absolutely LOVE ALL the videos Thank You so much! 🌹
You're welcome! And thank you so much for your comment and for watching the video. 🙂
That was a great analogy!
Thanks so much for your kind compliment and for taking the time to write me a comment ❤️
Added a couple of these (the ones sold as ready-to-use) to my Amazon wish list, and just subscribed to your channel, too. Want to make sure I'm not telling my adult kids any nonsense when I give them tips on how to clean (their rooms/apartments/homes/etc.).
Thanks so much for watching the show and leaving a comment. 👍
My favorite cleaning product is lysol apc. It works well on grease and soap scum. For glass i use windex. For surfaces that requires light cleaning i just use dawn and water. For my white tile floors i use bleach andwater. And thats it. 4 products for the entire home.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for sharing your in-depth knowledge of cleaning, tips and products. In Canada, I discovered Pink Solution which was sold by Costco as part of their scheduled marketing, I have been using Pink Solution for a few years, not only for household cleaning but for laundry as well. And I do not use fabric softener liquid or sheets. No static at all.
PINK is the real deal. You're right, it's fantastic stuff. I LOVE it!
I stopped using fabric softener in any form because the scent began to bother me. At first I put vinegar in the softener dispenser, then I stopped. It don’t miss it at all.
Wow so grateful for this. ❤️
Thank you so much Grace, I appreciate you. 🤗
Once again, superb cleaning advice
So nice of you. Thanks for watching and taking the time to drop me a line. :-)
such an eye opener.. thank you ma'm
My pleasure 😊 And thank you for watching the video.
Great video and I’m glad Mrs Meyers made the list bc that’s what I use 😜
Yes! Thank you!
Omg....
You are a great teacher. 👍
Thank you! 😃 I appreciate your vote of confidence. :-)
MY GOSH !I LOVE THIS WOMAN!!!!
Aww...thank you so much!! Sending hugs. 🤗🤗😊
We try many different all purpose cleaners and we get the best feedback from fabuloso from out clients. Very cheap and easy to find, smells great and can even clean glass and mirrors better than most glass cleaners
Thanks for your recommendation and for joining the conversation. 👍
I love Fabuloso. I really loved the Fabuloso Oxy which they took off the market. (Light blue)
@@pamkay1756 Fabuloso is great, but does it have disinfectant
This is an amazing video! I have just learned so much about pH and how it affects cleaning properties to ensure I get the correct cleaner for the job. Because of your educational information, I have been reading more MSDS's. I was using LA's Totally Awesome cleaner from The Dollar Tree for years and always liked it, but it kind of burns my lungs, and I've become more aware of how this may not be safe for my pets that lick their paws after walking across the floors. Thank you so much, Angela!
You're welcome! Thanks for your feedback and thank you for watching the video.😊
LA Awesome is pretty fumey used full-strength.. in a quart bottle, I mix a quarter cup LA Awesome, maybe 1/2 c rubbing alcohol, fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water, and finally add about 10 drops of lemon essential oil.
It works very well but after hearing Angela's warnings about next thing your own chemicals, I'm also going to look into the products she mentioned.
@@priscillafrye2951 Interesting. I have sensitive lungs and I love LA’s Totally Awesome. It doesn’t bother me at all.
I take that back! It irritated me terribly the other day, in a 1/10 weak solution with wares in a spray bottle. I learned it’s toxic and got rid of it. Never mix cleaning products. It may be even more dangerous mixed with alcohol. I ordered natural Shaklee concentrate.
So cool that Dr. Bronner's and Mrs. Meyer's made the list! I'll also add that Young Living has an all purpose cleaning solution that you mix with water and smells SOOO good. All 3 of these brands are amazing and we use them in our home all the time.
I'm going to start cleaning my brother's house tomorrow so I've been binge-watching your videos for an hour. 😂 Thank you! 🖤
Thanks for the vote of confidence and keep me posted on how it goes with your brothers house. :- I'm here rooting for you. :-)
I use vinegar and water for most surfaces and mirrors. Baking soda to scrub sinks and tubs.
Thanks for sharing your cleaning tips. 👍
I like Krud Kutter, Greased Lighting, Mrs. Meyers (which is good), Mrs Meyer's (Room freshener spray (be careful because you can spray too much & gage yourself LOL)). In the past I've used what my mother used (Windex, Tilex, etc.) some not so happy. Others were ok. Since watching your show, I've gotten so many good ideas & I hope to be able to keep everything clean.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the product. And thanks for watching. 🙂
I like Krud Kutter as well. Their laundry pretreatment is one of the best I have found for our laundry.
I think many people don't read instructions, which is why they have disappointing results. Although I do use home made cleaners for my home (check out Clean My Space, for home made safe cleaners), I would never use homemade products if I was cleaning professionally. Equally, if you didn't hear what Angela said, DO NOT MIX CLEANERS. It could kill you. Thanks Angela, for another great video!
Well said! And thank you so much for your feedback and for watching the video! 😊
I dilute sals suds and add tea tree essential oil for disinfectant properties. I love it!
Great tip! Thank you!👍
@@AskAngelaBrown thank YOU for all your great videos and so much wisdom that has helped in my cleaning business!
Simple Green is also amazing. It has the Safer Choice label, and it's safe for pets and children.
Good to know, thanks for sharing!
I love simple green. Its been my go to ever since my high school job of cleaning a restraunt kitchen.
I use all kinds of Mrs Meyers products. Their multipurpose spray is amazing, but I also have to shout out their dishwasher tablets! Worth the price!
I also love Method products. L.A. totally awesome multi purpose spray from Dollar Tree is definitely the best budget product out there though.
Thanks for sharing. There are some amazing products out there and I'm so thrilled to hear which ones you prefer. :-)
Do you still recommend those tablets. Never used a dishwasher but my new home will have one and have no idea what's best
Mrs Meyerspriducts all have so much fragrance I can't use any of them as they make me nauseated.
Your program is wonderful has so many tips and solutions to help us. Where are y’all based ? It would be great if any of y’all were in Texas. I bet there’s more clean homes in your area. I love watching your channel, and the
Decluttering, although they are perfect ideas, I’m not able to do it all. I’m disabled, so I can’t do it all, but I try
Thank you so much for sharing and all your helpful ideas. 👍👍💕💕😃😃😃🎄🎄
Savvy Cleaner is based in Charlotte NC, USA. Although when we were just a cleaning company we had branches all over North and South Carolina, and a branch in Georgia and one in Los Angeles. As a training company we are global with ongoing clients in 31 countries. Thanks for watching and thanks for your vote of confidence. We love to help people clean and leave the world a cleaner place. :-)
I just started using sal suds
I like it
I have ecos dish soap, it sux so I mixed sal suds, salt, baking soda, and orange oil, food grade, and now I love it
Yes, Sal Suds is a great product!
I love Dr Bronners for everything. What do you think of parsley plus?
I haven’t reviewed this product but it looks like it has many good reviews.
My favorite all purpose cleaner is white vinegar! I dilute with water, add a few drops of dawn, and some essential oil. Tea tree, lavender, or citrus work really well. It’s super cheap and easy to make! There’s a ton of recipes online. I ask my clients if there are scents they prefer or don’t like them I can mix my magic and customize my cleaners to please the clients.
What's the break down in portions? If you make a lot does it store well?
Ian Scianablo I usually make it as I need it. There’s a lot of different ways to make your own cleaning products. Some people add baking soda… etc. you should internet search and find the ones that work best for you😁
Those are my favorite too !
@@ianscianablo8507 It will work well for a bout 2 months for each time you mix.
I would do this mixture but I have a lot of marble and marble is the one thing that seems be contraindicated to use vinegar on
Ur brilliant, great videos
I soooo agree
Many people have concoctions
That make u say hmmmmm.
Also suggesting oven Cleaner for items other than the oven?? Seriously
May be good but omg
So caustic
Oven cleaner should be used only on ovens and following the product directions. Thanks for watching the show.
Thanks for mentioning EWG. I was about to ask what you recommend that is natural or as natural as we can get yet still be effective. I’ll try your recommendations and let you know. I found your channel this week and subscribed. Booya! What a treasure trove of information. I have my list of your recommendations, thsnks
You are so welcome! And thank you so much for subscribing...welcome to the channel!! 😊
I have always followed my gut instinct while cleaning, and I do not mix any chemicals or make my own concoctions. If I do need to use a few different cleaning solutions on deep cleaning jobs, such as a bathtub, I always make sure to rinse out the prior chemical first before introducing another one into a bathtub or surface. Thank You for the amazing tips!
You're welcome! Keep on doing a great job. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to write this comment, I appreciate it! 🤗
Hello Angela, Thank you for putting so much into what you love cleaning. I think I'm your lost twin. Lol I have been cleaning for a long time stared young working in a Hospital. When Pinsol was the big thing. I have been trying out the NEW. All of my clients like the new way of cleaning with all natural cleaners. So far these are the ones I like. Love Dr. Bronner's Pure-castile Soap " hemp Rose, Mrs. Meyer's Not to sure about this one yet. & Method Heavy Duty Degreaser. Is AWESOME!.... Thanks, again Angela Sandy.
I love that you reviewed all these! I am wondering about the cleaners, such as Mrs. Meyers....love the product, but what about germ killing?? I am just curious? With covid still rampant, would something so natural kill the germs we need it too?? Like I said, I am just asking. I would much rather use something not so strong, but trying to find a balance. Thanks!
Hi Tina, do you know about Force of Nature? ua-cam.com/video/16zH6YKzm48/v-deo.html There are similar programs that electrolyze water/vinegar/salt mixtures to create a safer formula than some of the commercial brands.
I will check it out. Thanks!
My favorite multi purpose cleaners are pink Solution (West Canadian product) and Mrs. Meyers! 😍😍
Now I want to try Better life!! Haha
Give it a try, it ight be another favorite. Thanks for watching.
My multi purpose cleaner is pine gel and pine cleaner and water in n spray bottel...its safe for wood and other surfaces and it disinfects everything
@@AskAngelaBrown it smells define and the smell stays more in the air than furniture polish

Thanks for sharing 🌻
Thanks for watching. It's great to have you here. :-)
Your cake example cracked me up!
Hahaha....thanks!
I didn't even know about these products. I use Pine Sol to clean floors and toilets, and Bon Ami spray for glass and taps. Around the kitchen diluted vinegar with baking soda mixture. On hardwood floors Murphy's oil soap. for dishes Dawn or sunlight or Palmolive or whatever is on sale.
lol. Yeah. Very helpful natural products make a difference.
Dawn is made by Procter and Gamble is environmentally irresponsible company
👍
They still sell Bon Ami glass cleaner? I haven't seen that for years. My Mom said it was the best glass cleaner, when she cleaned houses.
I use Mrs Meyers. Costs a bloody fortune in the U.K., But the basil scent is divine.
Glad you like it! But boo on the price. Thanks for sharing.
Basil is my favorite also
Hi Angela. Got a problem. After spraying for a few weeks I got at least a million decaying millipedes in my basement. No windows down there and I have stone foundation. House is over 120 years old. What's the best way to clean up dissenfect and actually even make the place smell nice? What can I scrub on that old concrete floors down there? What product or products can you recommend? Thanks a Million!!! LOL!!!!
These all sound great. Could you recommend the one or two products that I should have in my house? I’m not a house cleaner. Just your average house owner. Thanks! Love your channel!!
Look into using Odoban.
Thanks so much for watching the show. Here are some products I recommend: www.amazon.com/shop/angelabrown/list/3PM7ZAZDKUCSI
I use Mrs. Meyer's clean day spray and love it! I may just try one of your other recommendations though.
Thanks so much for watching my video. Keep me posted on what other multi purpose cleaners you try : )

Oh wow, that is so nice of you to say. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and support and for spending a few minutes of your day here with me. I appreciate you. :-)
@@AskAngelaBrown you are very welcome. God increase and bless you abundantly!
Hi Angela can you do a video on why cleaning products call for cold water instead of hot or warm water.
Great topic. Yes, the short answer is that some cleaners need hot water to "activate" the cleaning power. (Think OxiClean)
Can you do a video on cleaning and polishing marble floors. Thanks 😊
Great suggestion! I have a list of show topics and I’ll add that to it : )
@AngelaBrownCleaning New subscriber here. As I speed thru your informative videos, I wonder what's the best & easiest cleaner for grout? Our porcelain floor tile & beige grout is 33 yrs old. I've washed each 20" x 20" tile separately or in squares of 4's, then rinsing each 4 together...attempting to avoid getting the grout too dirty. But the kitchen has always been my challenge. And I don't want to get down on my hands & knees again. Any suggestions?
Do you know about Grout-eez? amzn.to/3kOKvMx It's an amazing product designed just for grout that is safe for porcelain and ceramic tile. This kit comes with a free grout brush that hooks onto any unscrewable painters or broom handle for easy use, or you can use it by hand and just hold it like a scrub brush. They have a UA-cam show as well with some pretty impressive results. Check it out and let me know what you think. :-)
Hi Angela. Can you please make a video on how to clean the grout and seal it afterwards. And if gou have made one already can you please share the link.thanks
Check out this video on cleaning a shower: ua-cam.com/video/qrjL17pU3bQ/v-deo.html

I use Ajax products to clean with, and Yes dish soap and For my toiletbowl i use Ducks with Lemon, Marine or Pine scent. Are they good enough?
The key is to read the Safety Data Sheets and make sure you know what you are using. Make sure that you are not allergic to any of the known ingredients. And when you land on some products you like that work for you - stick with them.
Great help .
Glad to be helpful!
Thank you!!

Unfortunately not, but you can filter/sort them by upload date. Thank you for watching!
I need one to clean my vinyl tile floors in the back of the house high traffic area and starting to stain I don't know witch on to use..
I was thinking about Eco-orange. but not sure
Have you used Sal Suds? It's a biodegradable cleaner amzn.to/3Fr2fUC and 1 drop in a mop bucket will do wonders on your floors. Stay away from any cleaners that will leave a buildup.
Hi! Great info! Which all purpose cleaner is your choice for quartz countertops? Thanks!
Here is a video review of a countertop cleaner that received the Savvy Cleaner seal of approval: ua-cam.com/video/slCMXx4RBHc/v-deo.html
I have only heard of the Mrs. Myers products, and I like the ones I have tried.
Can you give me an opinion on 409? I've used it for years and love it, but am interested in your thoughts. I love this channl!
I have not done a product review on 409. Maybe I will. Thanks for suggesting it. The fact that you love it suggests it works well on the surfaces you use it on. That's a good sign. 👏
Ms Meyers is amazing for your daily cleaning. It's wonderful as a cleaner and it smells so nice and refined (for a cleaner). I love the seasonal scents like snowdrop in winter and rose in spring, but the lavender or basil (if it don't want floral or want the least scented version possible) scents are my go-tos year round of I can't get a seasonal scent. It does clean REALLY well and is safe to put on practically everything.
However, if you truly have a gunky, grimey, really gross built up gunk (like my G's?) then you can't go wrong with 409, that stuff will get it up. It's the only cleaner that helped me get crayon, but not paint, off several walls... Toddlers. Anyways, it's not the best for your daily counter wipe down but it's great for cleaning up the aftermath of a severe depressive episode where the routine cleaning has been absent for weeks with children around, oh yeah.
I personally don't think Castile soap is my preferred cleaner unless I need something exceptionally gentle, but it still leaves a lot of residue. When I had my kids in hospital, they'd give us ketchup sized packets of pure Castile soap to clean our breast pump parts and baby bottles. You could still feel the slick fat residue even with an ideal bottle brush (if you're lucky enough to get one in hospital... I've only gotten one once and it was a useless silicone bristled one from doctor brown's and I only got it bc my daughter was using one of the bottles during her month in NICU, needless to say with baby #3 I brought in a brush from dollar tree with me since I didn't plan on nursing and didn't want to just soak, shake and rinse stuff, I wanna make sure it's clean, but yeah when I got home I'd just use unscented seventh generation (a lot of the other brands, particularly generic seem really watered down or left fat residue) dish soap. Speaking of which, good ole blue Dawn watered down can make a great all purpose cleaner in a pinch (especially if you'd need to rinse it off anyways like my jogging stroller for instance).
Thanks so much for sharing the cleaning tips. 😊
Awesome tips!
Hi Angela. Should I use my Shark Vacuum cleaner on my concrete basement floor? I can't bend down to use that hose on my Shop Vac. Thanks!
@@AskAngelaBrown Thank you Angela. Service Pro came to the house yest day. They told me not to waste my money on a cleaning job but to address the "outside" of my house water issue first. Surface water from the outside comes into my fieldstone cellar walls everytime it rains. Is there a better model for a vacuum upright out there that I'm not aware of? Anything stronger than a shark for a dusty concrete floor? Thank you Angela!
I love my Simple Green

Thank You for this video. Do Essential oils change the ph of cleaners? I absolutely love Puricy
@@AskAngelaBrown no I havent. I use it straight from the bottle typically peppermint mixed with method. I will look into it:) I just know to never spray on furniture! I usually use my mixture for wiping down baseboards, doors and trim. It makes the home smell so good.
I noticed one of the cleaners you said will kill germs but it doesn’t claim to be a disinfectant. Also you say many are great to wipe your toilet down with and again they don’t claim to be disinfectant. Is it not important to use disinfecting/sanitizing cleaners in bathrooms and in food areas? I stay slightly confused about the whole disinfecting/sanitizing/ cleaning lingo and would love a video to clear it up or a response explaining. I’ve just found your channel and it is so very informative. Thanks!!!
Lots of disinfectants are used for cleaning and not disinfecting. Here is how it works.
For this example let's use OdoBan Disinfectant / Deodorizer amzn.to/3d1r6kI
Cleaning - spray and wipe
Sanitizing - spray and let sit for 60 seconds, then wipe
Disinfecting - clean first. Then spray again and let sit for 10 minutes, then wipe
The disinfecting is done by the chemical and is a 3 step process.
1.Clean
2. Spray and let sit for the recommended time on the bottle,
3. Wipe
Does that make sense?
Yes, I understand that many disinfectants also clean (I LOVE Odo-Ban by the way ) but my question is about the cleaners you mentioned in this video......a couple you said were great to wipe down the toilet. In my mind, that would need to be a disinfectant. I’m wondering if some of the cleaners you mentioned in fact do disinfect as well or if you don’t think to clean a bathroom area it needs to necessarily be a disinfectant.
Interesting to watch. Now I want to find substitutes in Europe.
Thanks for the feeback! I hope you are able to find the equivalent.
Love your videos! What is your favorite cleaner for stainless steel appliances?
Bar none it's Zep Commercial Stainless Steel & Polish. It looks like this amzn.to/31nJX5A but you can get it cheaper at Home Depot. I like it because it doesn't smear or leave your appliances greasy.
My housecleaner used Weiman spray on my new stainless dishwasher and absolutely ruined it. You could see streaks, and swirl marks all over where she tried to rub it out. I tried everything I could find recommended to restore the finish, to no avail. It looked horrible. Then I saw Angela’s video on Bar Keeper’s Friend. I use that on my stainless cookware, so I gave it a try, per her recommendation of using VERY little on a wet cloth, then drying right after. It worked!!!
Thank you so much, Angela!!! I had been looking at replacing my old white gas stove (1940’s) with a new stainless stove, but after the dishwasher adventure I’d decided against it. Now that’s back on my list. 😊
Love your channel!
I learn so much.
Thank you : )
Our pleasure!

Thanks so much for sharing. 👍
I think it should also be iterated that mixing chemicals do not only apply to manufacturer-made chemicals. It also applies with ALL chemicals and yes, it also includes vinegars, dishwashing liquids, etc. The thing is none of us are professional chemists or researchers and we don't know how these products will affect surfaces, our pets, children, etc. Just because something is "natural" doesn't necessarily mean it's safe or harmful and that also applies to "non-natural" products. We use scientific methods to determine the efficacy and safety of any products regardless of where those products are made or where they were sourced.
YES! What you said. Thank you for the great reminder. You may dilute concentrates with water but please no mixing other chemicals.
So, which one of these gives you the most bang for your buck?
I noticed that many of them do not say that they sanitize or kill germs. For indoor use, I would want something that would sanitized, as well as clean.
The biggest bang for your buck will depend on what surface you are cleaning. Not all chemicals can be used on all surfaces.
So many great options, how do I choose?!!
You might have to flip a coin...lol! All jokes aside, see which one covers most of your cleaning needs. Thanks for watching.
What I find challenging is the dilution ratio. Most bottles are 32oz and the dilution ratio is usually for a gallon size. I wish companies would recognize this and adjust the directions.
I completely understand your frustration! It can be tricky to get the right proportions.
What are your thoughts on Method brand cleaners? Have you have any experience with these cleaners and how did the rate to you?
I'm a housecleaner and love method grapefruit scent window cleaner and degreaser
The Method wood floor cleaner smells lovely (almonds) but I find it doesn't dry nearly as fast or clear as Bona
Nicole, Here is a video on top ten furniture polishes where I talk about Method Daily Wood Cleaner: ua-cam.com/video/JMxRTzsAn-c/v-deo.html 😊
Hello I have a question for you so is pine sol, spic and span, or lysol the best most effective disinfectant and cleaner (asking for future reference)
It depends on the type of soil you are trying to remove and the surfaces you are cleaning. Not all chemicals are interchangeable or can be used on all surfaces. We have several courses in the Savvy Cleaner learning library that may be of interest to you from Eco Cleaning supplies to chemical safety. You can learn more here: savvycleaner.com/join (there is a FAQ there as well.)
@@AskAngelaBrown okay thank you
what would you reco..end cleaning inner fridge with
If you have a hand held steamer - that. If not a general all-purpose pH neutral cleaner works well. Make sure that you don't get any on any food still in the fridge.
I mostly used
1. All purpose cleaner : water and white vinegar
2. Baking soda
3. Dawn detergent
4. Soft scrub
5. Tylex
6. Limeaway
7. Zud
8. Citro solve
9. Twinkle for stainless
Thanks for sharing! Looks like you've got it covered. :-)
@@AskAngelaBrown thank for the reply. Quick question what do you think about white vinegar as a cleaner? Isn't the most safest green cleaner? Thanks
Angela, have you used L.A.'s Totally Awesome multipurpose cleaner? I love how easy it degreased my stainless steel vent hood filters. We're talking minimal effort after soaking in slightly diluted solution. I haven't tired it on much else, but for $1 I'm not out anything. I was wondering if you could do a product review. I just love how thorough you are in covering each cleaner you review. Thanks!
I’ve used it to degrease my hood filters, too. I just used it on my stainless steel hood and it worked great! It was dusty and probably had greasy residue although I don’t cook much or fry. Hot wet cloth with a little Awesome and it wiped clean. I dried it with a dish cloth. It came out perfect - no need for polish. I use it for everything except toilet bowls, mirrors, and laminate floors, only because the floor installer recommended Bona.
Could you review rug cleaning liquids for my machine
Not on this show. We strongly advise against house cleaners using liquids on rugs. Because for the most part, house cleaners are not carpet cleaners. They don't have the proper training, skills, equipment, hoses, vans, extractors, fans, etc. to clean carpets properly. And if they damage a floor, carpet, or rug they are liable for the damage. In cleaning, we use the term "stay in your own lane" which means we have carpet cleaners we recommend to do the jobs we are not qualified to do. That said, there's got to be somebody here on UA-cam that specializes in carpet cleaning - it's just not me. Does that make sense? 🙏
