I’m wanting to do this in my 2018 2500. It’s got the regular 8” radio in it. I’ve been wanting to do something like this I’m either in the actual radio or put it in the center below the radio

I wonder about heat. I live in AZ and at night I’ll take the iPad out but what about during the day. If it’s possible to wire in a fan to the back that will be nice. Also how do you change the climate control.

Are there any videos showing how it works? I dont see a radio interface, system settings, AC controls, Seat/Climate controls any of that. The videos all show how to install it but I dont see how it works as a radio.
