      Yeah, Hoka identified the ultra-cushion trend and has heavily benefited from it!

    I learned something new. Thank you.
    I’ve been considering “rucking” over running. My girlfriend bought me a 5.11 Tactical Rush 12-I really like it. I put some cast iron weights in the pack and go for a brisk ruck. What are your thoughts on rucking?

    • @PracticalHealthNow

      I don't have that much experience with "rucking" myself, so I need to rely on other people's opinion. And it looks like people, specially military people, like it!

    There’s one more secret you didn’t mention here in your nice video.
    What are the numbers for on the sides of all HOKA shoes? Is it a secret code for something? And thanks again for the brilliant video.

      I bought my first pair 1 year ago. I was 230lbs. After walking 1-1 1/2 hour everyday with Bondi 8 and change of life diet I now weigh 170lbs. I just bought 2 new pairs of Bondi 8. I’m a firm believer in Hokas after wearing New Balance my entire life. I just turned 64 and loving life more than ever. Cheers!

      Thank you! And you brought up a good question and I've thought about that. I thought it's just a version of shoes - Bondi 6, then 7, then 8 and so on. Like iPhone -12, 13, 14, 15. No?

    I’ve only ever seen pencil thin skinnies wear Hokas. The biggos all wear sketchers or open toed sandals

    why do their soles fall apart?

    • @PracticalHealthNow
      @PracticalHealthNow  Рік тому

      Brent, I see two options - either their shoes are poorly manufactured, or you are a tough runner :)

    Hoka hurt my ankle!!!

    • @PracticalHealthNow

      Interesting! Hoka shoes are supposed to save ankles. They might hurt knees and back, but not ankles. Do your ankles hurt you when you run in Hoka, other shoes are good for you?

      It’s the lower drop! Increases the work of the ankle.
