❤sir please reply,how to calculate dmg on an enemy? I mean dmg= how much atk+ matk + crit+ pen etc. Also how to decide which mage is good for atk gears or matk gear and other. I saw some green yami with high atk and other characters with matk. Because I can't understand for which unit i have to go for atk gear or matk gear. Because i am F2P player and summoning with 200 ticket i get 1 fuego and 1 skill page. I don't have any ssr attacker. I pulled him because of his conter and extra attack. But because of lack of knowledge about gear and unit special I can't damage to Archberox and Plechida( sorry mis spell). My badluck is very bad and i have to use my free universal mage piece to make Fuego counter. So i only have single universal mage piece remaining which is going to this first wizard king hopefully.
About how decide mage is good with atk/matk. You can click on glossary > choose any mage you want know > up that mage to max level. So you can see base stat of mage, and see what dominant damage atk or matk.

So my question is how to decide whether he be good with atk or matk. If you already know Captain Sisgoleon is a defender but his attacks give too much damage then how I know to equip atk or matk gear to any unit. I know because all my dungeon from 10 to 15 cleared with only Julius, Sisgoleon. I used some times black asta but as you know many user use it for PvP and equipped it with defence gear so he didn't do anything in stage 13,14,15. I cleared those by using swim Noelle because my all free characters are blue and they do nothing with green dungeon. Also I just put defence and hp gear to them so they did nothing.
Thanks for the info. Most people seem to be going for 3rd Eye Rhya for the 999 summon to pair with Secre and Lumiere, is this still a good idea if I don't even have the base unit yet, or am I better off getting a different character?
The only ones you can't get from the 20-day tickets are Grey, Finral, and Third Eye Rhya. So they should be your top 3 pick. Grey and Finral cannot be used with Lumiere cos of his sole Harmony unit requirement passive. But they are good with other team comps (e.g. Grey works really well with Black Asta who might return during Christmas with his Skill Page II)

what teams would be good for him in pve
the usual - debuffers and supporter mages to amplify his damage. Secre will be a good companion for him.
