In case anyone needs the camera expression:
var x = wiggle(0.4,150)[0];
var y = wiggle(0.5,200) [1];
[x,y,value[2]];
I searched for the smoke trail video, saw a couple of them......this is one of the best. I like the way it's not just do this, do that to get the effect.....You give a lot more details and how you get to the final output.
Right now i am working on my new After effects project and you just gave me a brilliant idea. 😀
Glad I was able to throw you some ideas, would love to see the finished project. Best of luck!!
Excellent video and very good taste on graphics design by the way. Thank you so much!!!!
This technique will be useful for some explainer videos I'll be creating later this year. Thanks for the inspiration! 😃👍
Glad I was of use Steven, thanks for the awesome feedback!
Yo this is pretty nice! Simple but effective!
Спасибо за помощь! Нужен был бэкграунд с похожим смыслом! Отличный урок!
cool tutorial, thanks man!!
Suuuper Nice, Clean and Simple technique bro! :) ;)
Glad you found it useful Manuel :)
excellent video, thank you very much for the tutorial, I already put it into practice. As a feedback I can tell you that it would be great if you explained a little more the subject of expressions in this case and also that you work with the percentage value adjusted to the composition window at 100% and not at 50, since everything looks very small . Greetings
Thanks for the awesome feedback, will definitely try to implement that!
Awesome tutorial
thank you so much!
I'm trying to get wavy edges like this on the frame of a video which has been scaled down. When you apply wave warp to a video though it only makes the video content wavy not the frame edges. I think maybe I need to make an inverted wavy mask shape where to video shows beneath. How do i do that though lol
excellent info. Thank you!
Thank you
nice
Nice tutorial..... thank you
Thank you for your awesome support :)
hi, is it possible to parent wave wrap effect to the object? Let's say the effect is already applied and it's moving the way I want, but I just want the object to be connected to the layer with wave wrap, but this object shouldn't have wave warp effect.
Where can I download this template?
The pinning problem could be solved with a pre-comp
👍
can you loop it?
Yeah you can, use the speed setting. A setting of 1 means it loops in 1 second. If you set it to 0.5 it will be half as fast, so it loops I 2 seconds. And so on. :)
