Hi, professional 2d Animator here! Your willingness to just dive in and figure it out is amazing and will definitely help you improve super quick in future if you decide to continue animating. Some tips. Look in the 12 principles of animation. They help a tonne when trying to figure out what makes movement look smooth. Decide how you want your character to move before you draw them in layers. Knowing exactly what you want to move helps in knowing when to separate things. You should also check out animation in after effects since you already kind of know how to use it. (I love after effects) You did great! If you decide to keep going pleaseee chare your progress!

12:26 I don’t think there’s anything wrong with hyping yourself up a bunch on this, I’d be 100% lost even after a couple weeks. That looks awesome!! It’s important to have self confidence as cliche as it sounds. If you don’t you’ll never push forward. I say animator Viyaura might be a cool thing! Animation videos every now and then would be fun! 10:25 The "cowlick" is actually a part of the hair that grows in a different direction. It doesn't stick up. The word you are looking for is the "ahoge" which means "idiot hair" in Japanese, and that is the little antenna looking piece that sticks up.
You can learn from a Filipina UA-camr Siege YT, she actually does Live2D classes, even though she's from a different community, she teaches really well
