I left Maryhill in Glasgow in 1961 but still have fond memories of it and its people. When ever I see multi story buildings with red sand stone I always think of Glasgow.
Ex-Carntyne 65 years ago. Were the houses renovated, they look so different ? Went to Rigby Street School with coal stove and chimney pipe for heating. We used to block the chimney , class was smoke filled so we got away early ! Thanks for the memories Paul

I left over 40 yrs ago , I was born and brought up in Liberton street Carntyne thanks for the memories hadn’t changed much
