Thanks so much for putting this together. My Nana lived in Glamis Road in Parkhead - all torn down now. My grandfather worked in the forge. My mum always had her hairdone every Friday at Noble's in Shettleston. There were SO many memories that you brought back for me.👋
Ma bit 💙 Born and bred in east end. Family from Parkhead and a was brought up in Greenfield/Shettleston. Best people you'll ever meet live in these areas. Maniacs one and all but hearts of gold. Salt of the earth, warm, loving but crazy. Long live the East end 💙
Family on my Mothers side all lived in Parkhead till their street was demolished (Croydon Street) Granny and Grandad moved to Greenfield (Cockenzie Street) The Coyle family.
My Grandfather lived on Altyre St. south of Trainard Ave. You almost drove right past it! He came to New York in '29. I visited in 2012 but the building was torn down not long before, just an empty field now. Great video!
New sub, from a fellow Glaswegian 'tuber. Great concept, loved seeing you go down Wellshot Road, passing my old flat. More speedbumps than any other road in Glasgow😂
Love this type of stuff. Left Glasgow 42 years ago and love to watch this type of video. Was dragged up in summerlee in coatbridge but lived in Kensington gate west end before buying a flat in tassie St shawlands. Like the fact u tell us the streets ur on etc, helps with my orientation. Tx

Hi Paul, if you're going to Easterhill St in Tollcross, could you combine it with Dunira St? I grew up there, but they pulled it down and there are new houses there now. Thanks
