Back in Hospital? Living with diabetes, strikes again.

- hey it's been a few weeks since I posted... mainly just because life has been super busy, however the last 10days have left me feeling exhausted, tired, deflated and just generally fed up.
A few of you reached out to check in, thank you so much! so I thought I'd let you know where my head is at right now... ❤️

Ok I know you said don’t feel sorry for you . But I’m not a good listener . Thank you for educating us that don’t know or understand about the everyday life of type 1 diabetes and how it can be . I hope your well and back home as soon as the doc says it’s ok . Sending hugs 🤗 xx

Alanna, it is not stupid to cry about this-it has to be incredibly overwhelming sometimes! Most of us take for granted all of our regular functions of our bodies until it’s NOT working correctly. So I can only imagine.

My mother suffered with urine infections on and off for a few years. She too was a type 1 diabetic for over 56 years, In the end urology decided to put her on a mild dose of antibiotics rotating every 3 months for a year which saw it off. Good luck & hope you are better soon.
Completely agree, both my parents are diabetic. My Dad can't get the medication he needs on the NHS because all the rich folk are buying all the supplies to get skinny. He is on the verge of going blind. Hope you feel better soon x

Big hugs hope your home soon. ❤ my dad is diabetic and has diabetic neuropathy in his hands and feet we have been back and forwards to hospital for the past 18 months with a foot ulcer . It terrifies me that will end up diabetic as it runs heavily in our family.
As someone who comes from a family who diabetes is a constant I completely understand where yr coming from even with non diabetic chronic health issues it's a major issue w health care n constant changing concern

Ah lovely, what a nightmare!! 😩 Never be bloody sorry for taking time off UA-cam though, especially not in this situation. I swear there’s something in the T1D water at the moment, my blood sugars have been dropping so low I’ve had side-effects like nothing I’ve known for the past 29 years of having it. Glad to see you’re on the mend, sending love 🩷
I have the breathing issues because of my scoliosis and it’s a struggle on the daily for me
