So I just finished watching the video and I have sooooo many thoughts! I am the same age as you and 2010-2011 would’ve been around the time I started working and had to look a bit professional/ pulled together but also had a bit of a budget.
So many of your mentions I remember vividly!
I think I really got into MAC around 2015-2016 because there just weren’t mac boutiques where I lived around 2010. My forever favourites are still woodwinked and some of their matte shades though! They are still as good as ever and I keep using them.
Around 2010-11 I would’ve been using the bourjois healthy mix foundation, which I still love to this day! I’d also try to buy products whenever I was travelling abroad- stila and revlon come to mind, you remember the revlon lipstains and the minty flavoured balmy ones made to dupe the Clinique chubby lip balms? For eyeshadows I was definitely into the bodyshop (this acrylic boxes with 4 acrylic eyeshadow boxes within them I used to death), bourjois and of course Sleek!! Sleek were just all the rage, also for blush and highlighter!
I also could t get my hands on urban decay until a lot later, say 2016-2017 and I agree, naked 3 I bought as well and it bored me to tears.
But in 2010 online shopping just wasn’t really a thing yet and it was more risky and more work too!

I love taking a tour down memory lane . I nene was into urban decay to much just that first naked palette . The frosty highlighter I totally love to this day currently the fenty wattabratt and love the tin nose effect . Love a throw back ! Xx
I worked for Benefit in 2011 so porefessionql primer and They’re Real was my go to mascara in 2011 when it launched. I always wanted one of the urban decay eyeliners. I’ve still got a benefit palette my sister got me a few years ago (maybe 2018/19) that’s got coralista and a combination of hoola and hoola lite which I still use x

Putting it out here just in case (am halfway through the video and will comment more later)- becca was bought by smashbox and smashbox kept certain products.
Also- forever angry that maybelline reformulated my favourite tattoo eyeshadow in bad to the bronze. I went through a few pots *before* they reformulated and it was the best.
Those MAC mineralise skin finish was in the shade soft and gentle. I have it and it’s still gorgeous!
