- In this video I am comparing the differences between the Hasbro Black Series Clone Trooper Helmet and the Denuo Novo 501st Legion Clone Trooper Helmet. What is the difference in price? What do you get for your money? What is the difference in design? I will tackle all of that and more.

The fact that they compare is a compliment to Hasbro. And yeah I'd definitely rather have 5 of the hasbros than just one that's just a little more accurate cause I can edit all 5 for different legions.

I’d love to see someone cosplay with one of those oversized Hasbro helmets. Even if it’s adjustable like other BS helmets, it looks too big; it makes you look like one of those POP figures.
Nice review. Denuo Novo should not be using stickers on a 700 dollar helmet, it makes their stuff look cheap.
Cool comparison. Denuo's bucket is totally better than the Hasbro, but its price is crazy.

Honestly, I think the Hasbro helmet is a perfect match for Jedi Fallen Order! Hasbro wins by a long shot in the value segment. Even against unlicensed pieces it's a great value.

Personally, I'd prefer the Denuo Novo, but my budget forced me toward the Hasbro. It is a great piece for the price though, and it looks fantastic in my helmet collection.
Apart from the Imperial stormtrooper helmets Hasbro has really knocked it out of the park with the rest imo. Can't beat the accuracy/price ratio..including the detailed inside and various electronics.

I looked at the Stormtrooper helmet because I love stormtroopers but it just looked… off. The visor / eyes just looked way too seethrough

Was talking with a Habro Rep at a recent Tf experience, they're releasing a 332nd clone trooper helmet, and then next year a P2 captain rex...
Excellent breakdown between these two! DN should be paying attention to this as there is really no excuse for the price point they're at, they can't have the same interior as the Hasbro! That would truly set them apart from the MR's which of course are still highly collectible. I also really like how Hasbro made those side vents and the breather's more "real life"; it's like DN kind of took a few short-cuts where they didn't need to. I'm sure that DN is working like a dog trying to get access to the actual screen-used suits that were made for Obi-Wan. That will really give them that next level to achieve...and keeping the same price. Thanks for this breakdown again...well done!
Interior shminterior. Nobody ever sees it unless they pick it up off the shelf. And besides, most Hasbro helmets insides need to be modified for cosplay purposes. I’d much rather Hasbro drop the silly electronics and the finishing on the inside to focus more on making the outside screen accurate.
Nice, detailed, side by side comparison. You can really see where Hasbro had to make some design compromises though. In order to put the interesting looking interior inside, it affected the external appearance. Particularly in the recessed cheek area. It's clearly not as deeply recessed on the Hasbro version. I think that is probably one of the biggest factors giving it the "slightly off" appearance that most people are pointing out. A nice weathering job to bring out the definition on the Hasbro would help disguise that, IMHO. The DN looks fantastic, but for the $, I think Hasbro's looks pretty darn good too. I think the indented cheeks of the film models simply make the helmet too small for a lot of people
This is a fantastic comparo! Thanks for doing it. Pros and cons with both. For me personally, I still have trouble giving Denuo any money after the Anovos disaster.

Great video, but from previous vidoes of other sites, price is always the issue given real motorcycle helmets can cost less than £100 .
After seeing the review on both helmets I think I would definitely go with the Hasbro Clone Trooper helmet because it looks way more awesome than the other one

I always thought hasbro used the same digital scans I’d assume Disney gives them the files I’m sure the licensing required them to use them.
Great comparison video ! I have the Hasbro version and love it but mine is not for 501'st Legion use (at least not yet - dont know if it would be 501'st approved). But I loved the little "Daaammmn " video clip when the price comes in for the DN 😂🤣

People that say they can’t tell the difference aren ‘t avid collectors or simply can’t afford the higher priced handmade helmets.
They are based on different media. The deunovo is base on revenge of the sith and the hasboro is based on the helmet from kenobi
Accuracy vs Budget for me. I feel black series have drifted from original scans to fit electronics. They are cool helmets though and good price point.
I have a Cybercraft one that I got a few years ago. It looks almost identical to the Anovos/Denuo Novo but the price was much more reasonable. Personally, I’m not impressed at all with the Hasbro helmet; I find it is not screen accurate and looks like a mishmash of the animated and live action versions. The shade of white is too bright and the proportions are off.
Maybe I’m biased because I just bought one, but I think the Hasbro one looks better

If Hasbro lightsabers were half as good as their helmets, we would have never known about artsabers, sabertheory, allysabers or saberforge 😅😅
Don't know about the other one, but Hasbro's is sized to fit a Watermelon... It's comically oversized, why?
That’s one thing I don’t like about their helmets. Just like their sabers, everything is oversized for giants. It’s comical 😂
I do believe the Black Series one is more modeled after the helmet in Clone Wars and Bad Batch, which are slightly different than the movies given the animation style.
They aren't. The animated styles have sharper angles at the eyes on each side, and the mouth piece is different as well

The problem with Hasbro’s is the visor is not curved but it is a nice helmet
Better than the fake ass vents in a 700 helmet. I’m sorry, I rather have the straight edges, than having stickers as vents on a 700 helmet. Fake ventilation is horrendous on helmets and car body kits

Black Series for me. The differences are very small, not worth $570 more. (I definently don't have the money.)
There are lots of helmet manufacturers that build helmets that looks as good as the Denuo for half the price.

They pay there employees extremely low wedges. Constantly lead on employees that they would get higher pay. Treat employees unfairly. Have extremely dangerous working environments. Overall a very unprofessional company… please don’t support Denuo Novo aka Anovos
For 700 dollars I might as well buy a 3d printer and make my own helmet at that point
