    The number 2... How wide is the spread at 6ft away from subject? Would you use a number 2 to bounce sunlight to fill a car scene?

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  3 місяці тому

      It's hard because it's all relative to the initial size of your source, but if you laid the lights out similarly how I did (around 2 feet away from the mirror and a 4" source about) I would say the spread would be around 3 foot diameter with feathering. If I was doing sunlight, I would use the hardest source possible so I would use the raw unit. But if I was forced to use a mirror I would use the number 1 or even harder such as the 0 from light bridge. I feel sunlight looks the most real when it has the hardest shadows, and these mirrors will soften that.

    I’m thinking of buying the godox 100cm have you used them before and what’s your opinion on the 1 & 2 reflector of the 100cm are they multi purposeful

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  Місяць тому +1

      I haven't used the big mirrors before but I would totally use them if I could. I love the 1 reflector because it carries the output and hard quality that I usually want from mirrors. The number 2 is also great because it softens it a little bit but still has some hardness.

    Do you use the CRLS 4 much? Because Godox doesn’t have a soft 4 right, just the soft slash/streak variant. Would love an updated review to see what your observations are in a longer term!

      Not much because slashes are usually called for and needed to be refined where I find a leko to be much more useful. I'll think about an updated review soon! To be honest I don't get much use out of these on set.

    Do the godox work with light bridges accessories (snap bridge specifically)

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  Місяць тому +1

      I don't know about snap bridge but I'd assume they use the same plates. The godox ones are compatible with CRLS from what I've used

    If I was going to use these outside in a forest, which one would be best to throw light?

      The #1 reflector is the clearest reflector so it would travel the farthest

    What IS up with that camera? I can hear it working. Lol. Anyways, I own a CRLS Go system that is pretty damn good. It didn't come with the cleaning kit and I had to make my own. These seem awesome as the kit is actually priced really aggressively. Also, I just noticed they added a 0 reflector that's a mirror to the system. Really cool! Did you sell that 50cm CRLS set?

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  5 місяців тому +1

      Haha I used my little canon point and shoot for fun. I didn't see the 0 reflector I'll check that out! The cleaning kit is great for the price and yes I couldn't resist the price. I did sell the CRLS but thank you for asking

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  5 місяців тому +1

      I just checked out the 0 reflector, I wonder if it's as strong as CRLS. I assume it's just a straight, barley pebbled mirror

      @AlphaTeamGoProductions 5 місяців тому

      @@muralighting I think I'm gonna order the 50cm #2, #1, and #0 from Godox to finish off my set. It will be interesting to see how they fit into the CRLS system. At 1/2 the price, It's worth a try.

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  5 місяців тому

      @@AlphaTeamGoProductions I think thats a good option, Personally I would get the #4 from Godox because the #2 and #1 are similar to the CRLS already. The only benefit and additional tools from Liteflow IMO is the streak/ slash mirror at the great price.

    • @muralighting
      @muralighting  10 місяців тому

      Use them on every project I can, I was excited to use these for hard sources but you really have to back them up to get hard shadows when extending light because the faces are so diffused of the panels
