- Apologizes if this video is a little sloppy on the technical side of things (exposure, audio, etc). It was tough to film just the two of us and we had some camera overheating issues.

So refreshing to see someone coming in with the lighting knowledge instead of camera/lenses. Thanks so much. Would love to see more lighting content!
Which camera and lens did you use?
Videos like this really make a difference when it comes to the actual process of learning cinematography. Hands on, practical approach, thank you so much guys for providing a great source of knowlodge.
Thank you! It was fun to play around and learn for ourselves too!
Great test and beautiful result! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks very much. Very helpful.
Glad you found it useful ✌🏻
Learned a great deal here and it felt real to watch. Thank you for sharing!
I just love your content. Every video of yours teaches something and it's just amazing. Like it's not just theory and some images from the internet. You really explain how things work and for me it feels like I'm on the right side of the internet. I super encourage you to do more and more videos. Great work!
Thank you 🥲 more to come!
I actually really enjoyed this video! seeing just how much better and more natural everything looks using the reflectors is amazing
Thanks Edward! They're great for a natural look
Great vid! Love the demonstration of sunlight on shadows - really keen to try these out.
Thanks Ed!
very helpful episode about mirror Reflectors
Would love to see more about lighting !
Great videos
More to come!
Super interesting insight, mad what that little reflector onto the chair did for the whole scene
Right!?
Thanks, guys, Very interesting and food for thought :)
Awesome breakdown.
How much level are you losing when bouncing through the lightbridges?
great stuff
Love it
🙏
Another awesome review. The CRLS are a serious finesse especially in tight spaces when you want to artificially gain distance from light source to subject. If you can, try getting your hands on some 100cms sometime! They’re awesome
Definitely need to try the 100cms!
Valuable content
I learned something useful today 😎
Those reflectors sure made the world of a difference but when I saw the price my jaw dropped!
They’re not cheap lol
dope video!
Thank you!
i love these. quick question - for ultrabouces, how would you rate those compared?
I understand there's differences in rigging, reflectance, ambient fill vs. controlled lighting, and quality on skin, etc., but curious for those on a slightly more simplified budget?
Great question! These are great because you have varying sizes of reflectors and diffusion, so with one light you can create multiple different qualities of light. Ultra bounce usually comes in bigger sizes (4x4, 8x8, 12x12, etc) so it's more suitable to create 1 big source and achieve a softer light. Does that answer your question?
I think there is some dust in your sensor
Darn it
Great video! Would o loved to see the 600/dish but further away......
Thank you. Looking back we should’ve played around more
Like your demo! I watched tons of CLRS videos, but wasn’t impressed. The big issue with CRLS demos is they fiddle the reflectors too much during the demo to show different effects before I can even see and compare on a single setting. It would be nice to see a comparison demo between their 50cm and 25cm reflector for the same portrait setting you had in this video. 25cm is a lot easier to travel with.
Next time I use them I'll keep that in mind!
非常感谢
Hi Matt. I really love what you do, and how you break things down for people like me who are interested in video and lighting. I’d really love if you can take me in as an intern. I’d like to learn from you. Not looking to get paid or anything. Just wanna learn.
WHERE CAN WE FIND THIS MAN
I can not unsee that dirt, but great video tho, thanks!
Get that dirt off your shoulder

Use an HMI not LED. And FFS the lightbridge kit costs more than that cheap LED.
Copy that
