This was the song that made me discover the Wombats 11 years ago. I was so mesmerized by it that I still remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard it. I went home and looked up "Jump into the Fog" hoping to find out what band it was and the rest is history. I've been such a fan ever since, every single song is amazing. I'm so sad I missed my chance to see them play in February since I've been so out of checking for concert tickets since Covid started, but I hope hope hope I can see them play soon!

As an amateur musician I've learned that it doesn't necessarily matter how good a song sounds instrumentally but what you make of it vocally. I find it quite challenging to add a good vocal melody to an instrumental pattern. The Wombats do that very well.
