in this RC lawn mower project, I laud and admire your awesome creativity and fantastic persistence in fabricating and testing models 1 to 6, in rubber wheels, tracked wheels, and iron wheels (I coined it model 7). I, as an admirer and outsider, humbly propose few points for your considerations, please: -a. Increase the diameter to each of the 4 wheels, similar to that of the iron wheels (the latest model 7). But, the bigger wheels shall have rubber tires to better supporting the mower, improve transmitting traction and afford absorbing terrain's shocks. -b. Continue with your 4-wheel-drive vis-a-vis the spider-like independent swinging wheels design in order to maneuver in difficult terrains such as steep slops and undulating surfaces such as drains and holes. Of course, it is challenging. However, if achieved, it will be the a remarkable technical breakthrough in RC lawn mower making. Personally, I feel that common rubber wheels shall be superior over tracked wheels for simplicity and cheaper price. - c. Upgrade the power of your fuel engine for 3 reasons: i. Heighten the cutting power ii. Better charging your batteries through electric generator. iii. Add weight to the mower for stability in cutting. - d. Ensure that the each of the 4 DC motors driving the wheels shall have at least 24v for sufficient torque to maneuver in difficult terrain such as climbing out of a small drain. - e. Refine, package, commercialize and pattern this mower. Thanks
Very cool! I want to build one as well. Would you say that the hinged version is the best? I think tank steering could be difficult and casters at the front make it difficult to drive straight lines.
Yes you are right, spinning wheels have a hard time keeping a straight line, the central hinge is very useful, but not for too hilly terrain, because the center of gravity changes, tank sterring consumes a lot of energy, and the structure itself must be very strong. Everything has pluses and minuses. Now I'm testing sideways driving or dog walk and we'll see how it goes.
Darren I used a lot of energy while turning like a tank, and even with metal wheels the mower probably wouldn't turn, at the same time turning like a tank would do a lot of damage to the grass

Very innovative! Thanks!

Remind me to add "gravity" to the list of rc mower considerations 😊
Hi Buddy, awesome work!
Le model 6 avec la direction je trouve cela pas mal . Vous tourné une petite dynamo entraîné par le moteur ?
Yes, alternator 50 amp.
What motor Controller are you using and how many?
One, sabertooth 2x32
@@urbanbelaj ok thanks
Have you had any issues with motors burning.? Also what’s the wattage of the motors?
@@nikolaialphonso431 No, no problem, the motors are 250w each.
AWESOME, Why did you design a mower that hinges in the middle? In 4X4 tank mode you already have zero turn ability.

Thank you for the answer. I am very impressed with your creativeness and hard work!!!
What controllers are u using for your motors and what motor sizes are these ?
I use flysky controller and sabertooth 2x32, the motors are dc/24v/75rpm/250w

Put the kid in the back and give him the remote 😂🤘
hallo, Can you send me photos of how you connected the wheels to the motors?
Send me your email.
@@urbanbelajI tried to send but it does not work.

Y si le ponemos una uzzi?
You can try!
How much Amper has the battery ?
2x 12v 33Ah AGM
How much autonomy do you have with 2 motors and the battery set?@@urbanbelaj
Unlimited because i have alternator.

Zdravo, tudi, sam imam isto težavo, iščem 2T motor pa ga ne najdem, oz. so zelo dragi, v poštev pride gokart motor ali paramotor.
