I recently received my EDC X9. I initially looked at it like a 1911. But now I realize that it’s a whole different kind of gun. The most versatile gun I own. You can carry it, have fun at the range with it or go to war with it. It’s like a modern gun that shoots as good as a 1911. I’m glad I bought this iconic gun!
Simply put...the greatest pistol I've ever owned. Pride of ownership is real with this gem. I have 5k rounds of all types through mine and have run 3 x 1k round classes with the EDC X9 and carry it everyday with the updated Surefire XC1-B. Soft shooting, perfect grip for wet hands, lightweight, and I would never miss the $3k if this tool saved my life. SIMPLY SPECTACULAR!
I find this pistol very interesting. I need to test one on our channel. Thank-you Bill for making it, I hope it is a good seller for you guys. Keep up the great work! Beretta Sr.
I truly wish to shoot one of these. Looks to be a great EDC. I guess it's time to start saving for a rolex, lol. Thanks for discussing some of the engineering that went into the EDC X9, it's these factors that separate it from just another expensive gun to a gun that makes sense. Grey
Awesome modern take on the 1911... absolutely love the idea of this beast. I would love to see a full size 5” version in the future to take on Double Stacks from the likes of STI and Dan Wesson to name a few.
being left handed I always am concerned about how much the mag release sticks out. Sure would be kind of you to make the gun with reversible mag release button. I have had several 9mm pistols that did not work out for me because while shooting (left handed) I would engage the mag release which dropped the gun out of battery...not good! I have not yet had that experience with any 1911 pattern guns but it's always on my mind while shooting. Just wondering how difficult it would be to make your guns with reversible mag releases. Too costly? I doubt it considering the price point of your guns in the first place.
For that kind of a price put in a ambidextrous mag release for us lefties. We love nice guns too we just don’t want to manipulate it differently than our other lefty firearms. That’s the spectrum he didn’t talk about. Not just big or smalls hands but Right or LEFT handed😉 That’s why I’m a fan of FNH 100% ambidextrous. When you make one lefty friendly I will be a customer. Good video
As a lefty, I personally find releasing the slide with my trigger finger actually faster than using my thumb with an ambi pistol. But yeah, a fully ambidextrous pistol would be a nice option
You either wear a timex or a rolex lol. Good line right there! I'm not quite flush enough to play with Wilson Combat's these days but hopefully soon. Just bought a Dan Wesson Specialist in 9mm and hope to give it a little friend, an EDC X9 in the next year or two.
