I super love you guys. I could somehow relate because I have some Japanese guy friends. They are very motivated and eager to learn English, plus.. they are so kind. I agree that most Japanese doesn't like chatting/texting that much. I am surprised though that there's this 1 japanese guy who still keeps on messaging me everyday. We exchange messages (text and voice) daily and learn both language culture. To be honest, I have an impression that japanese guys are not that sweet. However, I could see that your fiance is soooo sweet. And, btw, my favorite japanese proverb is also ななころびやおぎ(nanakorobi yaoki). But I believe Japanese people are really good learners ☺️ Even in my partner's case, he wasn't really the 'updates' kind of guy. But he came to learn it through the years. ❤️ We even connected 24/7 through call when we were in LDR before, and even now that we are living together, he updates always even at work. So it's really a matter of agreement and learning ☺️❤️ No matter the nationality, it's always a matter of how you both can adapt to each other. So don't give up ☺️❤️ Japanese are the best to love ❤️
