My Rep recommends the PA120. The Thermal recover looks good I would be on their case big time with the issues I hope they have it fixed. I like my FM-2023 just limited tip selection.
I would not recommend the tweezers in the video .. They are very hard to use They always stick No matter what So parts go flying It's a poor design I've contacted anne spoke with the engineers too .. They are actually subscribers to my youtube channel It's a huge design flaw Hopefully they come out with a different model but I would get the nano tweezers Before these I'm going to purchase the nanos wizard just because I can't deal with the issue I never use them because of that Plus they have a design flaw In the tip cleaner The one you just recently fixed !!! Mind keeps spinning randomly .. It's irritating Probably another design flaw That's why they went to a different model ... But besides all that Very good quality tools Best on the market .. I'm going to upgrade to the Is sodering station with 4 tools ports lol And by the way very impressed that you fix that other cleaner .. Suck state they did not give you the tray for it. Why is that 🤔
@@QsTechService1 After having a touch screen TR1100 hot air nope not a fan of touch screens rather have buttons. The 4 tool has a touch screen, regardless 4 tools 1 machine would be nice but if ever and issue after warranty I am not sure JBC will not embrace the right to repair and sell parts or provide schematics for a self repair. I am Afraid it would be FU buy another and well no thank you at that price point. It Was hard for me to move to the LCD screen I hope its not a custom display when i do my full teardown I will find out.
@Rhine_Labs Will not sell parts That's not good ..... What is JBC Doing #JBC Did you have to chase down the bearings for the cleaner Yourself or did they provide the part number ? 🤔 I've contacted the company multiple times They don't respond back to this defect just to run around Unfortunately And yes I do not want to touch screen It takes a lot longer to boot So I would opt out of the touch screen Why do you need a touch screen When you hit the power button, you switch it on You should just be able to use I had the tweezers replaced Two times It's a manufacturer defect Do not buy ... Cannot recommend unfortunately
I have the AM120-A tweezers, but I haven't experienced the sticking issue. Maybe only the AM120 has this problem? It does have the vertical play between the two parts tho. I use the tweezer mostly in combination with the C120-007/008 tips btw, which in most cases work better then the pointy tips like you are using.
It either goes in deeper than the other Or they stick Where if you have brand new tips put in then They will not meet evenly And the controller If you even them out they will stick To make usable Pull out the other tip Just a little bit and then bend them to Shape I've had 3 sets replaced telling me that they were defective but same problem 😥😞
You should be able to ... If it has the same plug You can always call jbc and ask them they will tell you .... But honestly I don't really recommend these tweezers They have a design Issue But other other products I do recommend Just not that model tweezer If you can get around them not always been then you can use them
Man, I've been wanting to upgrade my super cheap-o hot tweezers and had been looking at these JBC ones because they seemed fairly nice and affordable. But now, seriously, I think I would have to pass on these. Super lame they sent a used looking pair and that both pairs stick like that, thats horrible. Thanks for the upload!
I wish there was a review video of someone reviewing these but there is not no videos I can come across that shows them in use Horrible design Especially for micro Can you imagine little parts flying off because of the tweezers snap back Ridiculous I can't believe they would even release this tool Hopefully they'll make good with it and fix the design flaw $460 probably wasted Thanks for comedy and giving your feedback
I agree. JBC tweezers are complete garbage. What is interesting, there is many tips on the market like amazon or eBay where people are selling original tips but they have many manufacturing defects like not proper size.
JBC make some good kit but in my opinion is over priced & over rated' bit like Fluke Dmm's the market out there-there is plenty to chose from China make some good kit if you pick carefully & do the homework on the tool your looking for , i use a C245 knife tip to just slide smd caps & resistors off the pads' if it's tight space i then use 2 irons to push smd off pad , the price you paid for that unit would have paid for a very good scope upgrade , but thats just my opinion - dont shoot the messenger ........
Do not be fooled, yes JBC is the best now, but that does not mean all of their equipment and design is the best. They have many products which could be much better since they ask for premium price. JBC has many low quality/badly designed equipment as well.
@@olDirdey so you have the same issue ? Don’t have them anymore. I ended up getting the non-adjustable tweezers After trying 3 different pairs of the adjustable ones, they never worked
@@olDirdey yes, I got the runaround game myself finally got in contact with a good sales rep sent back the adjustable tweezers and they replaced them with the non-adjustable tweezers .. and trust me I know how you feel I was pretty pissed off myself after swapping 3 different pairs in the same issue .. it’s a design fault, but they do not want to recognize it and they still sell them .. how long ago did you purchase them?
I guess one can not expect too much QA for $500 these days it seems. Sigh.
Definitely not what you would expect from JBC tools not good
What can you guys say about PA120-A? People say that they open not so wide and have less play and more suitable for soldering 0402/0201.

JBC needs to step it up for how expensive they are. Bummer!
Lol Most definitely

such a shame... For the price you'd think that they sold functional equipment... (well they make a good hot air station)
They know it's an issue Hopefully they redesign it ... Doesn't stand up to what their quality normally is
