Here in Australia the FX-951 actually costs the same as the JBC-CD stations (which are on special in a few places at about half price). So I went JBC. I think I'll get a Hakko FM-203 in a bit as well and hook up the tweezers and a desolder gun, as Hakko seems to be the most reasonable in that field.

Best thing i ever did was retire my Radio Shack cheap iron and get a Hakko. After watching this, I want to buy another
Although I don't own any of these brands, I have always thought that Hakko was certainly a competitive product in any industry.
Hakko, makes great soldering stations. Ill find out soon if the JBC worth the premium.
