I never really thought the bowser fight in Sunshine was that difficult. What made it easier for me was using the rocket nozzle over his fire breath. By doing that, the boss fight is over in like a minute
Yeah, and also so many bosses that are the most difficult aren not that hard, i mean the monster with their teerh dirty in Noki Bay, was really easy and the mecha bowser also easy. Or you can just run the wrong direction, wait for him to start breathing fire, then pull a 180 to go the direction you needed to go in the first place. Then you never have to cross his fire breath. I think this was the intended strategy, but maybe it's just a weird one I discovered, as a kid. He doesn't correct his fire attack for you changing direction.
You're supposed to spray him in the mouth to make him stop for a second. Iirc the water spray destroys bullet bills too so you can press A while spraying to shotgun blast water for a screen clear. You can do it in the air to prevent mario from back flipping.
Personally, Corona Mountain was way harder than the actual Bowser fight. I remember when I first played through it I probably died at least 12 times, but when I got to Bowser I maybe died once. I think I remember quickly finding a solution to getting back to the rim where you run forward and start charging a rocket jump, but then veer a bit to the side. The region you need to land on this way is much bigger because it is more tangent to the rim, though there's also a minimum distance you need to go so you don't fall.
If one of the purple bubbles is coming up below you, you can hover nozzle it to turn it into the air bubbles. That way you avoid taking damage and still get health refill
Phantamanta is one punishing boss fight. Avoiding those thin lines of electric goo while trying to spray the mantas is a nightmare. I had a lot of success with the hover nozzle in the first phase, though
@@generalcrab0009I’m sure you could look it up. I don’t have a source personally, but here’s some reasoning. That King boo looks entirely different from the one in luigi’s mansion/mainline mario. Same for all the average boos as well. Also, the true king boo would never be weak to fruits. He’s most likely a goop imitation from bowser jr, which is why he looks so goofy, like jr’s childish perspective of the real thing
@@skeleton819 yeah. I’ve eventually learnt that the Sunshine King Boo was created by Bowser Jr, you can even see him turn into goop after he’s defeated. He’s also called Boss Boo in the files instead of King Boo
I love Super Mario Sunshine, and that extends to the bosses. Petey Piranha is one of my all time favourite Mario characters, and Gooper Blooper, Eely Mouth, the Wiggler and the Phantamanta are all memorable boss battles. Even the Proto Piranhas are cool even if a bit repetitive. The biggest issue with Sunshine bosses is the fluctuation in difficulty. They can go from fairly easy to crazily harder.
Imagine if after you beat Bowser, you get sent to an arena below where the bathtub was where you have to fight Petey Piranha again (the true final boss)
For Gooper Blooper, there are a couple of additional things to be aware of: you can pound multiple tentacles at once with a Ground Pound, and you don't need to pull his tentacles off to defeat him; just ground pound when he slaps you with four tentacles, then run up and pull his nose. If you time it right you'll be able to damage him before he's able to slap you again with the tentacles.

For flying petey piranha you can actually knock him down by just spraying water on him, you actually only need the pig alloons in the beginning to wake him up. I didn't figure this out until my third playthrough because the stage throws a bunch of those balloons at you basically implying that you have to use them since they don't appear in any other stage,. because of that I never even attempted to spray him with water until I accidently did one time and he fell. It almost makes him as easy as his original form..
My favorite lines that got me laughing so hard was: "So just when you think it couldn't get weirder." "Petey grows wings, OK?" "And he can just fly by flapping them, OK?" "Don't question It!" "And you have to shoot these little pig ballons on your nozzle, OK??" "GOT IT!?!?!?" XD Oh my gosh thats so hilarious...
sunshine king boo is very weird looking compared to his other appearances, and he’s found in the basement of a casino inside a hotel on a tropical island. my headcanon is he’s also on a vacation and he’s zooted out of his mind when you fight him here😂😂😂
For gooper blooper you only have to remove his inner 2 tentacles, he cant hit you with the back two. Also you only have to pull his nose until his eyes turn red, you dont have to keep going until it pulls off, these 2 things make the fight even easier. Phanta manta is also way easier if you stay in the ocean bc you dont have to worry about the electric slime trails
If you're quick and cheeky, you actually don't need to remove any of his tentacles! Just jump on the inner two to flatten them, run up and pull his nose, release right before he's about to slam you with the tentacles, and you'll get a hit in!
I think Shovel Knight would be a good ranking to do. You could pick one campaign to rank the bosses of, or rank every boss across all four campaigns (Many are the same between two campaigns, but I think they are worth ranking separately in those situations; the character you’re playing as can have a substantial effect on the difficulty).

I'd personally swap Manta and Bowser. You basically dodge everything with the rocket nozzle. The fight also doesn't really change as you keep going. Manta leaves tons of electric goop everywhere and even really small spots can hurt you. Plus, the fight gets harder and more chaotic the more mantas you create. I'd also place Shadow Mario between Monty Mole and Gooper Blooper.
14:02 I never went directly inside the eel's mouth, so i never knew this existed in the game. I always thought if I ended up inside, he'll swallow me whole and it's game over. Fludd's dialogue here disturbs me a bit too... Especially when he said he feels fright...
Again, I want to see a RPG game here so I'd recommend to do one of the Mario & Luigi games, most preferably Dream Team (As it's my favorite of the bunch)

Most of this game looks harder than it is- the game is quite easy but you THINK it will be way harder, take the manta storm, pretty easy but VERY intimidating. Also, the game doesnt tell you the methods to do things, meaning I ended up spending 40 minutes fighting petey for the first time and then looking on google just to find that I was doing it completely wrong.
I would actually say the Polluted Plant blocking Ricco Harbor because you can stand on the roof of the buildings near the gelato beach one and literally be in absolutely no danger
Can you make a Hollow Knight boss ranking? It will be hard, with the difficulty, variety, and boss rushes. Also, you can count the boss rushes as separate things from the new bosses that they give you.
Lmao I beat the game for the first time in awhile last night and thought the bowser battle was so easy. You just ground pound the little spaces then when they’re falling an apart, jump back to safety and slide down to the next one before Bowser can even spit out fire.
Eelymouth is in my view way easier in my view. Because if you destroy the purple bubbles, they are changing into clean bubbles where you can take a breath to recover your breath! The fun fact about this enemy is, he will thanking you for cleaning his teeth by sending you a gift. Coins which are forming a heart! ♥️
i dont get why eeley mouth is ranked so high you can get hit by his tears and can get a full health recovery you take one point of damage but then keep healing from the smaller bubbles so you can just stay near its mouth then when you are low on health just bump into one of its tears

Eelymouth’s poisonous bubbles actually help you recover health because they do only 1 point of damage, then heal you back to full.
That is, usually if you get hit from below.

It is a completely different king boo. Not the same from Luigis’s Mansion. Might be on the Mario wiki with the proper source.

You don’t need to use a pig balloon to hit Petey when he’s flying, just spraying him like normal will do. You only need the pig balloon to wake him up
The polluted piranha can be easily cheesed by standing on a building. None of his attacks can hit you
