We loved the Iguazú Falls! Getting to see such a beautiful natural marvel has been one of our trip highlights that we’ll never forget.
Hope the Falls are on your to visit list!

How did you get there? Fly, bus, train? How did you purchase airfare? How much was it? Was it better to pay cash in person at the airport or credit card? Or online? In advance or day of trip? How do you get to and from the airport at Iguazu Falls? Thanks in advance for answering these questions!

Hi! We flew to Cataratas International Airport (Brazil) from Rio, and were able to take an Uber to the hotel. Flights we bought online. We bought the Iguazu Falls tickets to both locations in person. In Argentina, we paid with cash but in Brazil we used our cards. Hope this helps!

@@UnlockedVistas thank you for your reply! I’m flying in from Buenos Aires so I wasn’t sure if we could get airfare once we get to BA or do it in advance from the USA. I appreciate your input

@@WriterusAeternus We only looked at flights online and the prices were similar for us whether we booked in USD or local currency. We always paid by card. We’ve heard some people prefer to book their flight in person with cash at the Aerolíneas Argentina offices but we never looked into it. It wasn’t worth the inconvenience to us.

Great video as everything was explained well, transpo and all! I just want to know whether you encountered a lot of mosquitoes on the trail and within the park? I heard there's lots of Dengue cases in Brazil last summer (Dec 2023 to April 2024). We are planning a trip here in January. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Thank you! We used bug spray and didn’t experience mosquitoes during our time at the Falls, or while in Rio. However, we did get lots of bites in Buenos Aires- despite using bug spray.

This is very much the problem. The truth is the Argentines are doing a very poor job at up-keeping the trails. Several parts are closed at one time or another, so now, the most amazing/immersive experience is definitely on the Brazil side.

Can we take our dog with us?

Hi! We didn’t see any dogs inside the parks on either side. The walkways can be a bit tight at times so not sure they would allow them. I suggest double checking the park websites but from what we can see they aren’t allowed.
