2.0 is HERE!!!! Thank you so much for spreading the word on this project, Todd! I am noting your suggestions in this video for things to add to 2.0 and looking through the comments. Cheers!
140 starting coin! Must be a pretty competent "thief". Thanks for sharing this new aspect of the very creative BFRPG community and for all the great content on your channel. I recall my thrill with creating a character on the Commodore 64 using a Basic program my friends and I collectively wrote circa 1986. Decades later as a person who relies on computers at work, I am acutely aware that the convenience of technology can lead to dependence. Cheers!
I still run my own solo games on paper in 3-ring binders. It's good to know what to do when tech fails. If my children were anything like me, I'd suggest a one-shot adventure the next time we have a power failure.
Cool start on a useful tool. I'm looking forward to what gets added in v2. I just signed up and took a look at it. The biggest thing missing, I think, is the ability to select the character's level when adding a new character. A lot of campaigns start at above 1st level. And for those of us with pre-existing campaigns, if we have players add characters, then higher levels need to be accommodated. On the same note, there should be a way to add equipment without having to input the amount of gold on hand. A PC that's being added mid-game may have really low cash-on-hand but have lots of gear. I'm going to hold off on recommending it to my players until I see what comes in future updates. Right now it's not really useable by my mostly 5th level characters.
Feedback would be welcome on the site's Forum thread: basicfantasy.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4840 You could even just cut and paste these same suggestions into a message there.
I noticed that the option was there to have done it along with the name, but was too lazy to re-edit the video to make a note of it. But yeah, being able to add or change it afterward would be nice.
Hello there, Todd! Viewer from Sweden here, and I greatly appreciate your videos. Looking forward to buying Chrysogon's when it's available for print. :) I've been wondering: What language do you greet your viewers in? I can only guess. :)
Welcome! Thanks so much for taking the time to write. I'm not sure when CC will be sent to print. Chris wanted to make sure there were enough "breadcrumbs" in the content for readers to understand how some of the characters are connected. Plus, there will need to be a table of contents and an index. I'm not sure when he'll have time to do those last touches. He's a busy man. Oh, and the language used in intros (and sometimes endings) is Swampy Cree.

Thanks for the wonderful work so far! It's a great gift to the community.
Thanks for sharing this. I didn't know it was out there.
You're welcome, John. I love that people make such great stuff in this community.
looks promising
It’s so good.
“Make me look studly” [single beat] “I’m sorry”
That was so great…
Glad you thought so! Cheesy Dad picked his exit point and made a run for it, but quickly surrendered.
Seems like a handy and cool way to reference for players and DM's. Im going to check this out
I'm sure the developer would appreciate your thoughts: basicfantasy.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4840

Yah, I asked about the ability to add an image AFTER character creation.

2.0 is out and that feature is live! Thanks for contributing your suggestions!

Very cool! I'll definitely be checking this out. It would be nice if you could export the character as a pdf for printing in a standard 8.5 x 11.

Printer-friendly character sheets are a priority for me. 2.0 will add printable character sheets soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
