Hey, just here to inform you that you missed the point of veganism. We often debate whether or not an animal has a soul. For many, they believe animals can’t have a soul because they only have animal instincts. Animals can’t have a soul because they don’t know right from wrong, but what makes that so different from a human? Depending on how you grow up, you will follow that same path as the ones who raise you. We are all conditioned to believe certain things until we break free of what others try to control us with. The way we capture and slaughter animals is inhumane. Have you ever slaughtered an animal yourself? If you really want to eat meat, I would suggest hunting. Hunting is more humane than what food industries do to animals. You are in the wild, and you shoot an animal down. It’s almost like the cycle of life without the violence and greenhouse gasses. If you drink milk as well, I would suggest trying oat milk. The best thing you can do is just try it out instead of complaining about it. We were once caveman who needed to hunt to stay alive, but now we’re evolved and know what it is to be sustainable and merciful. When I look into the eyes of an animal, I can’t believe that people don’t think they have a soul. They breath the same air, they can see the same things, they have all the same senses as us except we judge them because they are voiceless. It’s time to change your way of thinking!
Also, animals have family. They have values and morals and we have been able to observe this for centuries. Ah bollocks. The movie just shows how vegans misunderstand slaughtering and how disconnected most Americans are from what they eat. I am so glad to have grown up in a farming area. I am considering keeping my own chickens because I think it’s disgusting how some farmers still manage to get away with raising caged chickens and I don’t want to support that. If I raised my own chickens I would be able to ensure they had a happy healthy life, were a heritage breed as opposed to the modern chickens used in farming today (lower qol) and died quickly in a safe space where they felt comfortable and happy. Killing your own meat is always sad because you raised that thing and it wont be there anymore in a few seconds, but you know you will use the entire animal, that it was happy, healthy and loved, that it will not suffer and that by doing this instead of becoming vegan or supporting bad industry practices you are furthering a healthier line of animals and doing your bit for the planet. Of course it differs based on where you’re from. If you live somewhere with abundant fertile soil and a big growing season grow your own food and become vegan sure. If you’re somewhere like me where the soil is no good for plants and the growing season is short, raising small meat animals like rabbits, guinea pigs or chickens is far better for the ecosystem and the planet.

Hey, just here to inform you that you missed the point of veganism. We often debate whether or not an animal has a soul. For many, they believe animals can’t have a soul because they only have animal instincts. Animals can’t have a soul because they don’t know right from wrong, but what makes that so different from a human? Depending on how you grow up, you will follow that same path as the ones who raise you. We are all conditioned to believe certain things until we break free of what others try to control us with. The way we capture and slaughter animals is inhumane. Have you ever slaughtered an animal yourself? If you really want to eat meat, I would suggest hunting. Hunting is more humane than what food industries do to animals. You are in the wild, and you shoot an animal down. It’s almost like the cycle of life without the violence and greenhouse gasses. If you drink milk as well, I would suggest trying oat milk. The best thing you can do is just try it out instead of complaining about it. We were once caveman who needed to hunt to stay alive, but now we’re evolved and know what it is to be sustainable and merciful. When I look into the eyes of an animal, I can’t believe that people don’t think they have a soul. They breath the same air, they can see the same things, they have all the same senses as us except we judge them because they are voiceless. It’s time to change your way of thinking!
Also, animals have family. They have values and morals and we have been able to observe this for centuries. I can’t eat meat solely because of my dog and how people in other countries would eat my dog no problem! And they would torture her because of their traditional way of thinking. I’d rather watch animals enjoy life than kill and eat every animals I see.

No, we do not need to eat animals out of necessity. Most humans live by grocery stores with an abundance of vegan food with all of the necessary nutrients to live healthy lives easily. There is not a single nutrient in the world you cannot get on a vegan diet.
And I doubt you eat carnivorous animals, if you eat meat you most likely eat cows, chickens, pigs, and maybe lamb and fish. All of which are herbivorous. So no they will not eat us when "pissed off" or eat each other in the wild.

People won't go through all of that if it wasn't worth it but there is a good reason why people all around the world eat meat and base their best dishes around it .

Ah bollocks. The movie just shows how vegans misunderstand slaughtering and how disconnected most Americans are from what they eat. I am so glad to have grown up in a farming area. I am considering keeping my own chickens because I think it’s disgusting how some farmers still manage to get away with raising caged chickens and I don’t want to support that. If I raised my own chickens I would be able to ensure they had a happy healthy life, were a heritage breed as opposed to the modern chickens used in farming today (lower qol) and died quickly in a safe space where they felt comfortable and happy. Killing your own meat is always sad because you raised that thing and it wont be there anymore in a few seconds, but you know you will use the entire animal, that it was happy, healthy and loved, that it will not suffer and that by doing this instead of becoming vegan or supporting bad industry practices you are furthering a healthier line of animals and doing your bit for the planet. Of course it differs based on where you’re from. If you live somewhere with abundant fertile soil and a big growing season grow your own food and become vegan sure. If you’re somewhere like me where the soil is no good for plants and the growing season is short, raising small meat animals like rabbits, guinea pigs or chickens is far better for the ecosystem and the planet.
Fun fact: there are more chickens than humans on earth, so we don't have to worry about them going extinct anytime soon.
