Hope u feel better! Ive done a deep clean in my kitchen today. Been frying morels too much this week. Grease got all over the stove, one thing lead to another and 4 hours later its looking better. I love the arch idea.
You could cut the cabinet door in half. 2 half doors.
To answer your question, YES. Every time I do a update, upgrade or repair, it plays out like a domino affect. More projects, more work and more money😂. When I know I can fix it or make it right, I am not capable of turning a blind eye to it.
Wowza🤩Removing that cabinet really opened up the space in the kitchen. I think You will be really pleased with your new kitchen set up.

I really like the opened up door way, makes it looks so much bigger in the kitchen.
Spoke too soon, you could do a half wall on each side of the door way so you don't have to patch your floor but it would still feel more open with better air flow.
I'm saying prayers you are feeling better. Old nurse here, please eat some breakfast each morning and take your medicine.
Mike You could build a shelf over the doorway to store your large appliances like crockpot, instant pot, storage pitchers, etc. Easy access for you but out of the way until you need them.

Perhaps you could cut that cabinet door in half and put a second set of hinges on the opposite side. Then you would have two small cabinet doors instead of the one large door. It would give you more space. Just a thought. Hard to tell how large the cabinet door is on camera. Looking good. Sorry you don't feel well. Don't forget to eat and hydrate. Maybe snack throughout the day when working.
Maybe you could move the refrigerator to the other side and then finish the top cabinets out where the fridge was

@@moalf5088 No, they live 4 hours from here, but I have met them several times through work situations and partys. They probably wont say because that person watches the channel.I have same situation with my neighbor
