It is well acted, good dialogue, and keeps to a sense of 'truth' for what happened. That's all you should expect of true crime, for scrupulus adherence to fact it's worth looking at all the texts/documentaries that have been made about the trial

It was only Shapiro who planted that seed and Cochran who took it to the point of comparing Fuhrman to Hitler. I remember watching this as it happened on TV back in late August 1995. By this point, it was no longer a trial, but a fight between tired, beleaguered human beings who were fed up with each other. When Darden finished speaking, Shapiro rose to respond saying that Darden had "personally attacked Mr. Cochran", but Judge Ito, while acknowledging the deep emotions being felt by both sides, said it was vital to move forward with the trial as he was deeply "concerned about the durability of the jury" at that point.
