As much as Alice Guo is frustrating both the Senate and the House of Reps, I really don't understand why her decision to not be bailed out of one of her case should become such a big issue. Whether a person chooses to bail themselves out or not, I think it is pure speculation from the Rep's end to claim; she did not bail herself out because she wants to be under the custody of the PNP. This is why watching the whole Alice Guo drama is so annoying. The government just shows its incompetency. As much as Alice Guo is frustrating both the Senate and the House of Reps, I really don't understand why her decision to not be bailed out of one of her case should become such a big issue. Whether a person chooses to bail themselves out or not, I think it is pure speculation from the Rep's end to claim; she did not bail herself out because she wants to be under the custody of the PNP.
This is why watching the whole Alice Guo drama is so annoying. The government just shows its incompetency. Politicians showing their attitude and claiming to know more than her is unprofessional and embarrassing, considering the whole world can watch this. You should end these hearings with the kind of questions and the manner with which they are asked; why not file the case now directly in court? You certainly have your judgment at your end, no amount of question and answer sessions are needed, they will just be waste of time and resources. These hearings will just expose the kind of professionalism many of the congressmen show or possess. There must certainly be some other ways or manner of questioning to use to get the desired answers from the resource person, the type with civility and tact, as opposed to the crude manner you use to badger or intimidate the person, who ironically always address you as "your honor..."
