@@Watermelon_Manit pretty much was. Without UI Sign, Goku wouldn't have had enough "feel" for UI to be able to access the complete transformation, so until launch, this theory isn't out of the question.

Fun fact, in the manga, the trio of love do not have base forms. That was something the anime made up to give them a sailor moon transformation
There’s actually an implication that they might have base forms, but we don’t see if that is true or not in the manga. They don’t get much of a focus in the manga after all.
They labeled him Goku (SUPER) ui sign, so he is likely a transformation with goku (super) since Majin Vegeta isn’t labeled (Z-end) despite being the same time period.

UI Goku will have his Sign as his base form while the dominated form will be his transformation, if you remember in the BT3 days, Gohan from the Buu Saga had his Potential Unleashed form as a separate character

Ultra instinct will work like how the great saiyaman transformation works for gohan, it is only accessible from the base form of the character, this will make goku supers 4 transformations slots be super saiyan, blue, god and ui sign, now transforming into ui sign from base goku will then make mui accessible

UI Sign is listed under Goku (Super) at 2:13 so MUI might be a separate character or they're both together. if they're both under Goku (Super) then you might be able to transform from base into SSJ, SSG, SSB, or UI Sign but won't be able to transform into MUI from any form other than UI Sign if the transformation menu is the same with four slots only. if i remember correctly Raging Blast 1 did something similar with some characters.
That or MUI only becomes available by transforming into UI sign first.

When you take into consideration the core base Z characters you already have at least 40 characters you can safety predict from following the sayian saga to Buu saga and the Bardock special based on the empty Hexagons alone. UI Sign Goku and UI Goku both have the same aura. It looks amazingly anime accurate tho, especially for a form with such a unique and hard-to-pull-off aura

Everyone's gassing up the roster but this game has 3 more characters than bt3 so let's think about it. So far they have hardly shown any z and there have been 48 confirmed super characters. Not including those they might show like cabba, or the other trio de danger dogs. They're adding yajirobe and spopovich so they're adding the irrelevant z characters and possibly og db but who knows, more likely than not. Can you think of 45 disposable bt3 characters when they're trying to retell dragon balls story and keep the small characters clearly? There's simply not enough roster space
Love your reactions. I loved the trailer and every character that got showed off, especially Dabura and Yajirobe!!! Also the TOP stage is looking really fun to play on.
100% movie characters are going to be DLC. I checked some of the numbers and saw wrote down all the confirmed characters that are most likely going to be in the game that we haven't seen yet like Frieza, Cell and Buu forms. There's still plenty of space for at least 20ish GT characters. But if not and they replace those spots with t.o.p characters, I'm not going to be mad at it
As unlikely as it is, I'd love to see guest characters from other Toriyama works. Sand Land released a couple months back, so they could add in Beelzebub and Muniel, maybe Arale from Dr. Slump, just something to help celebrate not just Dragon Ball, but some of his other works too.
Arale was in Tenkaichi 3.

Chiaotzu needs to be in the game, he is my favorite character in the entire franchise, my main in bt3, and he just deserves to be apart of this masterpiece he gets mistreated way to much.

Based on the demo footage, it seems that they are treating Blue Evolution the same as the Kaio-ken, where it's a skill instead of a transformation
blue evolution didn't do anything to justify having its own slot. same as rage trunks. like move wise and fighting style wise, it's a pointless transformation with no reason to be a slot. if the anime or manga gives it more attention then maybe dlc or a sequel

What I found weird is them specifying Goku (super) instead of just straight UI Sign~ Goku.
Why do that if he's a separate character.
I get Goku early because its the only Goku that doesn't transform but why adding distinction for UI.
As an example Majin Vegeta doesn't specify late Z Vegeta because there's no need neither did Ultimate Gohan at the time.
I have a feeling UI will be treated as another thing (a third slot), there will be transformation from SS to Blue for 1st slot, Gogeta for 2nd slot and a 3rd slot for UI but the cost to transform will be high.
The trailer didn't seem to show giant Ribrianne as her own character, so that might have just been her Ult.

"We already did Jiren" Actually Globku, when Jiren was announced, on the official Bandai Namco blog posted at the time of the trailer, they confirmed it was Full Power Jiren specifically. So Base Jiren is a new confirmation.
Also UI Sign is awesome! Funny enough, if he is a truly unique character, that means you can have five Gokus on a team. Goku (Early), Goku (Mid), Goku (End), Goku (Super), and Goku (Super) UI/MUI.

Yo Globku I wanted to point out that for Gohan to turn into great saiyaman you have to be in base form. I was thinking it could possibly be the same with the UI gokus, you can go from base super goku to ui sign and then from sign to mastered UI but that’s just what I think

You might be able to pick what transformations you can use if theirs more than 4 for a character
I think UI Sign is Goku Super’s 4th form but once you use it then it reveals the 4th transformation which is MUI. Meaning you can’t go from SSB to MUI without hitting UIS first.
I think with the What-If scenarios of this game we might have some characters being What-If variations. We might even see the return of SS3 Vegeta and Tiencha.

Goku in ToP were a sash like in his Buu arc outfit but Broly movie Goku gi is more akin to Freeza arc Goku.
Here the belt is identical to Freeza arc Goku and by extension Broly movie.
@@righteousone5119 the main difference is first his boots. They are more rounded than his normal ones that he wore during the tournament of power. Secondly it's his belt/sash he uses to tie his pants. During the tournament of power, it was his normal one not the one he had in the Broly. Maybe it could be an alternate costume, but I kind of think it's going to be one character character since of the website also is stating that it will be Goku (Super)

Actually there is One more character that I noticed hasn’t been revealed. We got SSJRage Trunks which I am happy about. But uh, where the heck is SSJ2 Trunks? No serious question. Wasn’t that a form he used in DBS? Feel like he should have that, right? That’s a questionable decision ngl. That also taking into about the game DBZK and it how they show Trunks story.
Might be that enraged Trunks isn't a form but a power up, just like Blue Evolved and Blue Kaioken are power ups and not forms in Sparking Zero.

UI Sign is the last form DBS Goku can transform to, BUT, he can only use complete UI once he uses UI Sign. That way, no more than 4 transformation slots can be accounted for and Goku can access all his forms. It makes sense considering they are each labeled as Goku (SUPER) Ultra Instinct -Sign- and Goku (SUPER) Ultra Instinct.
