I made a rooftop tent with DIY.
It took about 4 months, but it is not completed yet. I will explain what it is, feel free to comment if you are interested in this rooftop tent.

Nice build man! I saw ripcord used a thicker series of 8020, how is yours, considering you used the 30mm series, is is shaking? Has enough rigidity? Is is thick enough inside? Thanks!
Ripcord's Tacoma and mine are different in mobility and size. Since the X-Trail is a middle-sized SUV, we used a 60mmx30mm frame to match the size of the body. There is approximately 90mm of space inside to accommodate a 1 inch mattress. The tent fabric is also folded and stored, so it is a last-minute space. If you want more space, you can change to a taller frame, but this will increase the overall weight. My rooftop tent is about 55kg. Plan by calculating the weight of the aluminum frame. Remember, weight is sacrificed for internal space and instability.

The width of the groove on the frame is 8mm. Put the same 8mm pipe in the dough and put it in the groove. See 3 for more

Your videos are such an inspiration. I have exactly the same car DNT31, only mine is auto. I'm really getting psyched up to do some mods to make it more off-road worthy and explore our game parks here in Kenya. Keep up the good work bro.
I saw a picture of game parks in kenya. I am very surprised to have such an environment. The common sense that human beings have will not apply here. The X-Trail is not suitable for excessive off-road, but depending on the idea, it should be a vehicle that can travel the world. I'm glad to have someone who owns the same DNT31.

物を切ったり曲げたり加工する事は父親譲り、細かい作業やミシンなどを使って裁縫する技術は母親譲り、そうゆう良いところをしっかり吸収して自分なんだと。

Furthermore, as a general-purpose resin, it also has the advantages of relatively high strength, excellent chemical resistance, and no hygroscopicity.

Rigitのホームページではライト類の遮光デモが見れるので、RadianceやSR-Series PROの細いモデル50インチを見ていましたが、いずれも10万円を超えています。
高いですね、今使っているライトバーが２万円しなかったので値段相応の価値があれば購入を考えるでしょう。

Конечно, было бы удобнее, если бы вы могли прикрепить люк на крыше. Подумайте, можно ли сохранить силу
может стоит поставить солнечную батарею на крышку палатки, плоскость большая!!!

I use a 3060 aluminum extrude on the top and bottom, which is the minimum height that can hold the tent fabric when closed. 30x30 has no bending strength and should be used at the top. If you put 30x90 on the bottom and 30x30 on the top, you can put a thick mat at the same height as me and inside.

It is a DIY rooftop tent, so we do not sell it. Aluminum frames, other bolts and nuts, connection brackets, etc. can be obtained at 80/20 inc.

I am finding it very hard to find long lengths of the 3060 aluminium extrusions online here in australia. Did you order yours online or go to a metal place?
The 3060 aluminum frame and corner bracket should be available for purchase at 80/20 inc. There should be an agency in Australia. Some parts and corner brackets were imported from Australia. Here are the aluminum frames and corner brackets I used.

A company called "item" makes some of their Profiles in Plastic. Search for "item KH" and you may find it. I don't know if they are available in Japan though.
Plastic profiles will greatly contribute to weight savings. It seems that shipping to Japan is possible, but there are few sizes. But thank you for your valuable information.
If I got to know you before, particularly last year when I ordered my Nissan Xtrail T31 from Japan, I would have requested you to modify it with all accessories like yours at agreed price then you export it to me when it is fully equipped like yours, hope you would have helped me on that.
Adding each piece of equipment requires a lot of steady effort, but it will eventually be possible to finish it this way. If you like my video, try it.
@@HeadwayDrive most of the equipments are not shipped in my country and it is tough to get it, that's why if I got to know you before particularly last year, before this car shipped to my country I would Have requested you to put all accessories like yours and then you ship it here, how I would have been so excited, when my car looks so nice like yours.
