You will not notice a difference between normal plugs and turbo plugs than only the price (turbo's are more expensive) and the ease of replacing in the field w/o dropping the copper ring that will vanish into another dimension for not to find.
I have a small zippo bag full of those washer for exactly THAT reason. But theres one problem with turbo plugs and thats that there are some plugs with a slightly different angle cut and these either dont seal well, or they might even damage the head.
@@xXYannuschXx There are a lot of (I think wrong) stories about different tapers, so someone did put them under a special magnifier and measure them. The differenses between several tapers were not more than 2 degrees, that should not be the problem (not that I did notice). There is a different problem going on, the length of the screw thread on the plug and in the chamber. Novarossi plugs have the thread going up to where the taper starts while other plugs have a smaller diameter part where the taper starts. And in the chamber the same is going on. Also the novarossi plugs are on some other brands a bit too short to screw them down on the tapered part or are blocked because the thread is not going that deep. I have modified some chambers to deal with these issues.
@@roeloftooms Its funny because the whole reason for the "turbo" plugs was to eliminate the issues with different length plugs. Personally I had an issue with one turbo glow plug brand in a Hobao Hyper engine. It just wouldnt tune well and you could see carbon buildup on the thread of the plug.
@@xXYannuschXx No, the turbo plug is not for solving different length plugs. I was designed as a better sealing and a seamless connection with the combustion chamber. When other brands came not sure if it was a patent forcing a different shape or just to be slight different to protect the plug sales but there are small differences. The taper I have never seen as an issue and I have used many different plugs in my engines.
@@thebug4046 I just got a brand new spec 4. Unless they changed everything inside (which they didnt) it is not worth it for me to buy another yet another lrp 32x
@@thebug4046 Mike hasn't got the spec 4.1 but the spec 4. That's why he has no idea. Also curious about the carb it looks the same but it is a 3 needle so maybe changed more internally and better than the previous one.......🤷♀️
you can order a turbo head and put n yours Mike and try it bet it will improve milage and power and probably only cost 20 bucks but glad to see you back making vids
Hey quick question I'm new to nitro. I just got this motor for my losi 8t 4.0 and I don't know what manifold/tune pipe I should go with. Could you give me an option or two thanks. Great videos
New carb looks allot like the sh pt2018 carb I have that engine ND everything is great on that engine other than the carb in New England climate anways but I'm optimistic that the lrp will be great again I was going to try that sh carb on the lrp wen weather ever discides to give me a chance but definitely excited on lrp to keep engines on the shelf thank you sh
I have novarossi .28's modded for a couple years and been thinking about a .32 but if it has same or less power as my novas then wasting my money because they are strong as hell and very very fast
Why world's best engine? It is one of the cheapest engines you can buy, and its quality is in line with its price. One of these days give it a go on an .21 OS, Reds, FX, Picco or Performa engine. You will be amazed.
No .21 will do the things that this thing will do when it's modified. Go look at a couple of my videos where I run it in my Mugen MBX8T and see the wheelies that it does
I think in terms of bashing is where this becomes the “best engine ever.” I’d still rather go with a good quality .21 since they’re better on fuel and still make really good power.
What 10 gallons i really have stop being lazy get the nitro rcs going i have brand new 4.0 truggy i planned on putting novarassi maybe this new LRP will be perfect
As long as they fixed the ports and the carb you should be fine with a stock 32. Hopefully we no longer have to mod the hell out of it to make it useable

The only thing I noticed turbo plug over standard glow plug is turbo,s always seem to last longer
Nice buddy glad to see they changed the carburetor. How is the sleeve port work compared the the older version?
I have no idea

Which carb can I buy right now that is best for my LRP
Who mods the lrp’s???
Yooo what happen to you men we're u at can see no more video from you come back bro...
Rcr mods has made an air boost backplate for the lrp 32 maybe you’d be interested??
Very interesting I may ask my engine builder to build me one as well. He already made one for my .21 Picco Boost

Where do I get my .32 modified?
Depends on where you live. I got mine modified by Roelof Tooms in The Netherlands!
