While Doug Doug may have been joking around in his attempts to distinguish between corndogs and hotdogs, it's true that there are some key differences between the two. A hotdog is a type of sausage that is typically made from beef, pork, or a combination of the two. It is usually served in a long, soft bun and topped with a variety of condiments such as mustard, ketchup, relish, and onions. A corndog, on the other hand, is a type of hotdog that is coated in a batter made from cornmeal and deep-fried until golden brown. It is often served on a stick for easy handling, and can be eaten on its own or dipped in a variety of sauces. While it's true that there is some overlap between hotdogs and corndogs, they are technically different dishes with unique preparation methods and flavor profiles. Of course, regardless of whether one considers corndogs and hotdogs to be distinct dishes or variations of the same concept, it's important to remember that food preferences and opinions are subjective and everyone is entitled to their own views. My two cents on the dawgs. If someone asked if I wanted a hot dog I would think either a sausage on its own or a sausage in a bun. Corn dogs and pigs in a blanket have a hot dog as an ingredient but not what I'd class as a hot dog. Now that being said Dougy boy didn't specify if it was the ingredient or the meal.
All the best DougDoug videos have him halting the entire video to engage in pedantry about the exact rules/pronunciation/definition of something with his Twitch chat.
"hotdog" referring to just the sausage is an advertising choice as far as I'm aware. Companies are allowed to name sausage products "hotdogs" to indicate that that's what they're intended for. However, this does not make them actual hotdogs. That requires a bun.
@@walesjedi9217 saying the patty is a burger is correct as the nam Hamburger comes from “Hamburg steak” which referred to just the patty before someone decided to put it between bread
Objectively false, a hotdog IS the sausage itself. Putting a bratwurst in a hotdog bun does not make it a hot dog. It is ENTIRELY dependent on the meat itself.

Doug, I love your videos and streams! Nobody else has the crazy energy, the wacky ideas, or the really loud intense music! Letting twitch chat play games is one of the best ideas ever, as it brings interest to the streams and keeps people watching. Keep doing what you're doing Doug, it's very unique and great!
Money hungry youtubers: "If you feel like shit recently, just stop by our sponsor BetterHelp"
Doug Doug: "If you feel like you are emotionally struggling, just think about Jeffrey Katzenberg and Fat Albert"
Seriously though, betterhelp is awful
@@hwdhs919 anything that is in the medical or psychological field is usually trash. There is a reason why people value an actual meeting over this bs.
RIP quibi
The sponsors are awful but dont call the youtubers money hungry because... that's their job
@@milesgaunt6767 there is a difference between doing your job right and offering people a scam.
this has to be by far my fav kind of content, I love how almost all of your vids have twitch chat directly included. good content sir dougdoug
I love how Twitch chat manages to fall in love with Fat Albert
I hope we get another episode, this was great. Can’t wait to see the return of Fat Albert the Gluttonous One
the saddest thing about this is that the Fat Albert movie is no longer free :(
I remember being part of the great hotdog debate, even with Dougs attemts to stop us, we still found TWO hotdogs that day!
I have to say, I've been subbed for a while Doug and it's great to see you back in fully powered up. You're too strong for these challenges and they really brighten up my day.
4:40 "As screamy as that was" Doug Doug then VS Doug Doug now would be crazy.
I'm honestly so curious where Doug gets some of these insane ideas!
He was eating hot dogs and then , out of noooooowhere, TWITCH CHAT
He was just minding his own business when... BEARS!
@@visionaeon then he said bears and 10 of them spawned
I can't explain the joy I feel when I see a new dougdoug upload. thank you.
On my third attempt, I managed to youtube speedrun to THIS VIDEO in 9 clicks out of 10, having gotten to DougDoug videos all 3 times
I love how Doug and Twitch chat were just arguing over what counts as a Hot Dog for several minutes.
Didn't expect to see Overly Sarcastic Productions
same
Same x2
Same X3
Same X4
Same x5
1:08 Medea is actually a very interesting choice as that channel does a lot of Trope talks and in the background will play examples of tropes sometimes anime
I love how in almost every DougDoug video there’s some controversy against Doug and the Twitch chat and they spend an hour disputing it😂
This reminds me of that old Wikipedia game that you have to click on links until you get to the word you need
"Looks like we have 23% on Miscellaneous myths: Medea"
Your chat wanted to watch a really good history/mythology channel.
Highly recommend Overly Sarcasting Productions.
2:57 "Their first click was to Korean Street Food" that's a weird way to say "Fat Albert"
This is the number one coolest streamer and honestly, his chat is stupid and insane and that's awesome
Stupid and insane enough to work!
1:23 shout out to overly sarcastic productions, didn’t expect them to show up here.
13:44 *“the fat alberters”*
This was by far the funniest thing you have uploaded. Fat Albert forever.
I love that the first video twitch chat picked was from one of my favourite youtubers
Honestly, not often you find actual good videos on the untarnished home page of youtube, that's a new one
Seeing OSP on a DOug Doug video makes me more happy than one could ever know
"You might be going into an inescapable pizza hole"
-DougDoug 2021
twitch chat is like a loyal dog that will yell obscenities at you
My two cents on the dawgs.
The fact that the majority of clicks during the first round went for OSP makes me so happy.
No one talking about how fat Albert won by 3% at 2:45
I say this fuckin constantly, but Doug Doug is undoubtedly, UNDENIABLY one of the most creative Streamers/UA-camrs to ever hit either platforms.
14:20 oh look, it's *every single one of my childhood films.*
10:26 zooms in on face "I do not see any obvious hotdog" as there is hotdog being made in the video, we see you Doug
Love the huge fight he had with his own chat about what a hotdog is.
All the best DougDoug videos have him halting the entire video to engage in pedantry about the exact rules/pronunciation/definition of something with his Twitch chat.
16:53 "its about tripe its about power we stay hungry we devour"
DougDoug needs to do this with different countries' UA-cam sites and with Wikipedia
"hotdog" referring to just the sausage is an advertising choice as far as I'm aware.
Companies are allowed to name sausage products "hotdogs" to indicate that that's what they're intended for.
However, this does not make them actual hotdogs. That requires a bun.
saying the sausage is a hot dog is like saying the patty is a burger
@@walesjedi9217 saying the patty is a burger is correct as the nam Hamburger comes from “Hamburg steak” which referred to just the patty before someone decided to put it between bread
@@grukmccrymyselftoosleep7098 Yeah but no one fucking does it. Find me one person who calls a hamburger patty a hamburger
@@royalblanket hi
Objectively false, a hotdog IS the sausage itself. Putting a bratwurst in a hotdog bun does not make it a hot dog. It is ENTIRELY dependent on the meat itself.
okay that's creepy, UA-cam now when it detects someone saying "click the like button" will actually highlight over the like button as you're watching
I love the idea that Roar of Domination is Fat Alberts new theme
13:39 The Fat Alberts have multiplied
the fat Albert infection
Lol
I love how OSP got in the start!
