HANG ON i about passed out when you called ashton kutcher "budget zac efron" 😭😭 ashton kutcher was SUCH a big name omg and not even that long before zac/hsm 😭
Definitely a classic. There’s 3 others that fall into this style of storytelling New Years Eve, Mother’s Day and He’s Just Not That Into You. The first 2 are made by the same team that made this one.
There were also ”Mother’s Day” and ”New Year’s Eve”, that also did the ”rom-com full of celebrity actors taking place on a major holiday” formula; both of them and ”Valentine’s Day” were directed by the late Garry Marshall
I don’t think I’ll ever NOT cry at the mom coming home to her son 🥹 watching it here still made me sob and just writing about it now is making me choke up, like THATS love! 💕
Jess, if you haven't seen it already, I highly recommend the Princess Dairies films. They star Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews and they are amazing and something you'd really enjoy.
Someone probably said this but in the cemetery the final scene with the older couple. And apologies I forget her name, but the wife, of the older couple she is in the black and white film that's playing on the screen in the background. That is one of her films from way back when when she was acting and they used that film in this scene. There's so many layers to this movie it's amazing.
regarding the restaurant at the 18 minute mark, I HATE when restaurants do this. They do it to maximize the amount of couples they can serve on Valentine's day and it's just as awkward as you would think. I waitressed at a restaurant that did this for V-day; we actually moved our 4-person tables out of the main area and brought in tables for 2 people and put them diagonally so we could fit twice as many tables. And taking care of the customers was so uncomfortable, I can't imagine being one of the couples and feeling like everyone can hear your conversation. Harrison's mom making the flight to see him for ~24 hours was definitely the best storyline closure and also made me cry. Especially since you couldn't tell how her and Bradley Cooper's characters fit in with the rest of the ensemble.
First of all, happy belated Valentine’s Day! Onto the film. I remember how pleasantly surprised I was that the guy on the plane turned out to be the football player’s boyfriend. That warmed my whole heart! Then the extra cherry on top was that the army lady was revealed to be the wee boys mom. 😢❤ there’s a few of these kind of films? He’s Just Not That Into You, New Years Eve? I’m sure there’s more those are just what comes to my mind. Oh yeah. The kid being caught by the mom is so hard to watch. I’d never be able to face them again 😅
OMG, not her calling the literal Ashton Kutcher budget Zac Efron oh my god, also clearly you haven't seen that 70s show because didn't know who Telford Grace was either, only Anne Hathaway the tailors, lady from 13 going on 30 and princess diaries guy were mentioned by name LOl, not even knowing Who the guy cheating on her was after all the movies and movie reactions you've done haha so funny. I highly recommend watching that 70s show if you haven't yet both Ashton Kutcher and Grace are so funny in it especially Ashton Kutcher as Kelso.
Awe, this movie. I saw this at a dollar theater in Austin (I miss that theater - so cheap!) and I remember when it’s revealed that Bradley Cooper is Eric Bana’s boyfriend, I and the three elderly ladies sitting behind me, we all cheered and clapped. It was so sweet!
ok i hate that i love this movie but i love it so much. i love when movies connect plotlines that seem to have nothing to do with each other together. i dont know why
I haven't seen this movie in years wow! I think i mainly remember the end of Julia Roberts' story line and Bradley Coopers. My friends and I were probably in our Twilight era so appreciated the Taylors 🤣 Also like no one knew Bradley Cooper yet when this came out. I think about that sometimes.
11:56 it was on the cheek, but I get it, the angle is decieving. but I'm sorry, "budged Zac Effron"?!?! we are not just gonna do Kelso from that 70's show Ashton Kutcher like that!!
PLEASE REACT TO "SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON"! It's a story about a strong, beautiful horse with a spirit that can never be broken. I cry every time I watch it! It's a INCREDIBLE film, and the songs are so cool! But it's not a musical and the animals can't talk. 😭💔🔥
This movie is aggressively 2010. So, when are we getting a feature from Taylor? Do she write/direct/star, or just stay behind the camera? Cute video, Jess!
The fact that I got the notification for this video WHILE I WAS PLAYING BACK TO DECEMBER ON THE PIANO is probably just a very big coincidence but it seems like a twist of fate ngl Never seen this movie, but I’ll definitely watch this reaction Edit: excuse me, this movie has not only Taylor Swift but also Derek Shepherd and Mark Sloan in it? How have I never seen it??
Does anyone know it she'll do Ted Lasso or One Piece(Netflix)? I love her character analysis when she does react videos and I feel like both of those are right in her wheelhouse. Ted Lasso exploring mental health and non-toxic masculinity and One Piece with the feel-good, adventurous vibes of early MCU.
taylor swift’s acting in this movie is so camp and it’s my exact type of humor. she could have been on glee with that delivery.
You calling Jessica Biel Scarlett Johansson and Ashton Kutcher budget Zac Effron sent me😭
"Where is her Mark Ruffalo?" 😂😂😂
HANG ON i about passed out when you called ashton kutcher "budget zac efron" 😭😭 ashton kutcher was SUCH a big name omg and not even that long before zac/hsm 😭
she right tho
Definitely a classic. There’s 3 others that fall into this style of storytelling New Years Eve, Mother’s Day and He’s Just Not That Into You. The first 2 are made by the same team that made this one.
I’d include 1998’s Playing by Heart, which is my favorite of the lot!
I like the mini-Princess Diaries reunion in this film and the amount of Marvel and D.C. Comics film actors in this film.
It takes the same formula of 'Love Actually' and replaces England with Los Angeles and Christmas with Valentine's Day.
Also "He's Just Not Into You". These were all fun movies!
There were also ”Mother’s Day” and ”New Year’s Eve”, that also did the ”rom-com full of celebrity actors taking place on a major holiday” formula; both of them and ”Valentine’s Day” were directed by the late Garry Marshall
Let's not forget New Years Eve, the next installment of the Garry Marshall Holiday Cinematic Universe.
I don’t think I’ll ever NOT cry at the mom coming home to her son 🥹 watching it here still made me sob and just writing about it now is making me choke up, like THATS love! 💕
i'm glad you found this film!! i love this movie so much definitely worth to watch

Hi. Sorry if I've asked this, but I want to double check. Is there any way to watch your full length reactions of these movies?
This movie is aggressively 2010. So, when are we getting a feature from Taylor? Do she write/direct/star, or just stay behind the camera?
Cute video, Jess!
One movie I wish more reactors would cover is "Always" (1989)
The fact that I got the notification for this video WHILE I WAS PLAYING BACK TO DECEMBER ON THE PIANO is probably just a very big coincidence but it seems like a twist of fate ngl
Never seen this movie, but I’ll definitely watch this reaction
Edit: excuse me, this movie has not only Taylor Swift but also Derek Shepherd and Mark Sloan in it? How have I never seen it??
i'm sorry?!?! i LOVE this, invisible string vibes tbh ✨
God, I would love to see Jess react to "Crocodile Dundee" (1986) I bet that would be hilarious!
I love your videos so much Jess
mean girls (2024) the musical ?
Hope you'll do Lisa Frankenstein when it comes out. I know you're not much for horror, bu Cole and Kathryn were amazing.
Would you ever consider watching Transformers (2007)?
