There’s nothing wrong with sharing your pricing. It actually helps a lot of people quoting jobs. All the crybabies who complain need to do it somewhere else.
I also don’t see what’s wrong with sharing your prices. I started watching your videos because you were pretty transparent with your prices and it is honestly inspiring me to start pressure washing in the near future. I’m saving up some money to register the business and purchase the equipment but your channel has been of great help/inspiration. Keep up the great work, Austin!
There’s nothing wrong with sharing how much you charge. It has motivated me tremendously to get started. Thank you for what you do. I’m subscribed (one of the 5 channels I follow) and that’s one of the reasons why. Honesty is the best policy, people will pay for what the service is worth!
Got my first paid job knocked out with Polk Washers smaller skid system. Roof, house and concrete. Got the new 459cc predator engine PW and, at least to me, it's a beast. (So far) I really like you sharing your prices. Has definitely motivated me to some degree. I made $1,485 yesterday (before expenses) on one job and that is exciting to me.
This is the channel that you utilize to educate and motivate. There is no place for the complainer to share,; due to the education from the channel or timidity from the immediate or future associates within your area performing similar tasks feel the liberty to scorn "price talk". I appreciate your "in the trenches" teaching.
The more price sharing you do the better for the industry. I don’t believe the $99 guy is trying to undercut everyone else, as much as he doesn’t realize that if he charged $299 or $399 he would in most cases still get the job. You are helping small thinkers to think bigger by sharing your pricing and that helps everyone in the business to do business better.
Do you brother, you help a lot of people including myself... I need that little bit of encouragement. If your not learning something new daily your not learning. Thanks for everything!!
I haven't even finished your video yet. I'm at the 3.0 mark where you're talking about catching slack for mentioning your pricing... You are one of the few that are transparent enough to put your numbers out there. Don't change what you are doing. Pricing is one of the toughest things to get right. The more you price your jobs , the better I get at knowing how to price my jobs. You can't get that feel if you only hear it once in awhile... Bro, there are going to be haters. Don't give your power away to them. DO WHAT YOU DO... You're trying to help us out. I'm willing to bet that the ones that have a problem with you talking numbers aren't doing shit to help anyone just starting out... Thank you for your time and help, keep it up ...
Keep sharing the pricing. It helps understand the value of the job. I’ve under quoted jobs and it helps to understand that the industry standard for us noobs.
Austin, I love your content and you really do inspire me. I’m gonna be honest with you, I’m disappointed that you let somebody or some people influence the way you do your videos. I don’t know who convinced you not to share prices but I can assure you that myself and most others looking to start out greatly appreciate the pricing. You have your beliefs on why you were sharing it and many others feel the same way. If you want to avoid upsetting some haters maybe just write the quote on a Post-it note and stick it to your center console so people can see it and the haters won’t cry. If you personally don’t think it’s right to share your pricing then by all means I can respect that. Again, I love your vids and have the bell set. Been following since 4ever.
I got a box truck there’s pros and cons to any setup but i feel the best route is a flat bed always go bigger at least 12 ft nothing smaller than that just found your channel loving it Joe Deery shouted you out I call him John Stark king of the north cause I don’t see any ppl from the north east making UA-cam videos anyways great content will be keeping up
Definitely keep sharing prices if we are all on the same page it will only benefit This industry When we stick to our guns and customers know that this is the going price because everybody's in the same ballpark Maybe we will all get less of I got a guy that will do it for cheaper
On new small engines, I do an oil change at 15-20 hours, then at 50. Then every 50. I change the oil filter every 100. Oil is cheap, I just use super tech 5/30 conventional.
Hey Austin, did you get your pressure washer sorted out?... hopefully it's not seized. I change my oil every 10hrs because its air cooled and it runs hard... cheap insurance for a long life.
I have one with a blue wire, blk wire and yellow wire coming out of harness Yellow is oil shut down Blk is kill wire Blue is WHAT ???? Does anyone know what I need to do with it Blk and yellow tie together to kill engine Can’t figure out what the blue wire is for and what it connects to ???????????
