I always use air for winterizing, but I made custom air hook-ups for more than one type pump or system. The Schrader valve will slow your volume. Use a male air hose plug for better flow and hands-free connection. Look up RV winterizing fittings to get an idea. I also made up one using a hose barb tee/1/4" thread with a brass back flow valve and air plug that was the greatest because it was always hooked up in-line ready to go.

Where you have the charging /regulator unit bolted to the side of the engine base plate, put a couple of rubber mounting washers there. It allows air to flow behind it, & stops any vibrations from potentially cracking it. Was advised by my supplier when I was putting my machine together.

Dude the rig looks good, neat, and efficient! See about something to transfer SH to the tank in the truck faster. I think it will be your last piece to a faster year. I believe the 8gpm and other upgrades will cut about 1-2 hours off your day. Let’s time it when you start the season. Let’s time it on 3-5 jobs a day depending on house size, drive time, etc. I’m rooting for you! No pulls baby lol will that size line support the 8gpm?

    • @powerfulimprovements

Yes absolutely we have one of the GEN two pumps will be dedicated to transfer I’ll have a banjo pigtail coming off the pump which will then go to the transfer a drop stick for the 55 gallon drum on the ground. Proved to be pretty slick last year and will be improved upon this year

Are you using a 3/8" or a 1/2" whip line? Is your first high pressure hose line 1/2" or 3/8"? I'm only asking because there's a few channels recommending that set up for a 8.0 gpm machine.
