I feel you on this. And to add; always remember to simplify what you conceive to be difficult in your mind. Also out work and out hustle the competition at all times, otherwise da fuck outa my way. Fares
Thank you! I've watched videos of another insurance company whose agents are TRAINED to mislead prospects by calling themselves "underwriters", not agents.
I agree with asking for permission to proceed. I however disagree with telling them it’s a sales call. If you are doing Insurance correctly it’s a service not selling a product. Also, not overcoming objections is a bad approach. If you don’t get them to tell you no 3 times on the phone you are leaving money on the table.
cold call is the worse and annoying things! my phone is all day with those call I never answer and when I do is for tell them stop calling me! I dont think cold call is a good approach for sell.. for me is a waste of time people spend all day calling people out of blue!!
@@macicarvalho this is our job , we have to call our prospects for sale to cater to their specific needs. We never meant to hurt you. Once you receive this cold call and you show no interest you can ask us to put you on DND /do not disturb and from your end you can still block that number and thus no more cold calling.
David thank you so much I Am brand new to the business two months in 62 years old on Social Security and learning from your channel as well as two others it's a great mentorship program that you got going on and I really appreciate it thank you once again can you name the top 10 carriers that you like for indexed iul and indexed annuities?
David Duford I’m in my first year of supplemental sales. I enjoy the freedom to create my schedule. It’s a tough grind. Hundreds of no’s for maybes, let me think about it and finally a yes 🎉🎉. Learning a lot about myself and I enjoyed your stories about people they started out and what they went through.
b2b as you mention, you dont need to strt ith this, you just say wh you are and what you offer. cold calling potentional customer , it works like this: can i have your 60 seconds? No, thank you(its the same call i receive daily and know from tv, argh) ... click...
When they say no, is that ok if we reply back with a smile : "Just out of curiosity, why you wouldn't be interested in something that you don't know what is it about yet".
I'd use the Columbo close - "No problem, and before I go, (fill in some sort of specific product pitch that may be of interest to your target market)." Your response would lead the conversation away from business to potentially becoming argumentative or becoming personal. Either way, not good for producing business.
Hey Daniel. Click the little gear button on my video on the lower right hand corner, then click "Playback Speed," and select a number lower than 1.00 to slow me down. That should help =)
only a the 3 min mark and already giving this a thumbs up.
Thanks!
Permission to pitch is a powerful thing
Yes it is. There are TONS of advantages to this approach. Plus you can quickly filter out the people you'll never win anyway.
Very good, thanks very much.
Be straightforward, transparent, confident, professional
Thanks!
I gotta put this lesson into my bible
@@alxm0173 Great! Hope it helps!

Thanks for your comment, Josh. There are definitely aspects of this approach you can add or take away from and still retain its effectiveness.
I absolutely love this approach . damn David this is amazing stuff!
Trying this out the day after Christmas 2022.
Sounds good =)
"Heyyyy, this is a sales call. I don't know you, you don't...." beeeeeeeeppppp "Hello...…..hello?...." lol
=) - you're definitely going to get that with ANY cold calling, that's for sure =).

Sure thing, Tracy =) - hope you're doing well.
I use "This is a sales call" when I feel the way they answer the phome is not quite the way a friendly response who not work.
Yep, some people like that.
Thank you for all your Help Sir

@davidduford hi, what would you do if you’re going door to door and the person can’t speak any English? Do you move on or ?
Yeah, move on.
You helped me lot🙏 now it's time to implement.
Sure thing, you're welcome!

“Hey, this is a sales call” ... if I caught myself opening with this I’d hang up the phone on myself
That's fine. I would never expect that it'd work on everyone you call. Remember, even good prospecting systems will fail a majority of the time.
I'd get fired if I said that lol
NEVER say this a sales call lol
you just asked for a no within the first 10 seconds of the call
@@josemora2127 I've found people are actually more receptive
@@josemora2127 if they say no then, they werent going to buy anyway.
Sandler?
I've never read Sandler training materials, but I have been asked about that many times over the years.
