Ds2 is my favorite. I started with ds1 but I never really had fun, it was only when I played ds2 did I get an understanding of these games. I don't care what people say about it, this is my favorite and it will always be up there. It gave us updated inventory layout, new 8 way rolling, powerstancing, and some of the best characters. ❤ Edit: How about a run where you have to become the boss you just defeated. So for instance when you defeat the demon of song you can only use a whip while naked, or when you kill looking glass knight you can only use his weapons and armor.
Dark Souls 2 definitely expanded the series and should be given credit for a lot of things, for me it was the customisation, I loved the cloth physics and the amount of customisation you had to make yourself unique. That's a fun idea! Playing as a boss was always a fun thing for me!
@@KlyeKlyeKlyeThe gameplay is surprisingly good and so is the final level. Story is kind of good. The ending and the twist was well worth it as well. Adam and Eve who would have known?
Well, if you can't beat the game without burning the windmill and torches or antidotes are not items you get from the crows, then you can't beat the game with just crow trades. Although I guess you could just farm souls until you can pass the shrine of winter without the Old Iron King's great soul...even though I don't think bonfire ascetics are crow trade items either.
If you get lucky you could get a few extra Lifegems or Divine Blessings from the trades and that could allow you to bypass the constant poison, I got unlucky in my trades so I wasn't able to, but it's entirely possible.
@@KlyeKlyeKlye Yeah, but there'd still be the problem that Mytha regenerates when she's in the poison, so while you are popping lifegems, she's undoing whatever damage you put on her too.
It was hard and relied a lot on luck, but the fact that every run doing this could be *slightly* different makes it an interesting concept for me, I enjoyed it...Mostly.
Not sure about that one, I dropped 99 prism stones and got 99 rewards, perhaps because they're "rewards" given to me rather than items I've dropped (since they disappear immediately when the trade occurs) it bypasses that limit and that's why the game starts to get gradual lag.
i'd argue the torch is more of a mechanic so as long as you didn't bonk someone with it while it was equipped its fair game to burn the windmill.
you know this challenge is theoretically possible in DS3 as well
you just need to make an exception for gundyr, then skip vordtt then get undead bone shard
do a skip with the tree in firelink
and trade in the extremely valuable bone shard to the crows for a stupid shield
that's it
that'll be your entire arsenal for the game
I would suggest this run as a method of torture
You can have the big crystal lizard kill Gundyr for you if you really really want to do the whole thing legit

I'm as baffled as you are! I only found out they could when I was digging into the crow trade system, but I suppose they are sort of smooth and they're very shiny (when dropped) so Dyna and Tillo would clearly love them! So nice, so smooth ♥
That thumbnail is beautiful
I'm gonna be totally honest, I actually thought about doing this a few weeks ago lol
Give it a try! You might get lucky with your trades...Or not 👀 I'm considering doing it for the other games too but it's technically impossible since the crows are always after the first area and the drops are specific, could still be an interesting idea though! I doubt I'd be able to do it though unless I allowed Estus 😅
To be clear, if I play on my ps5 it will still have multiplayer correct?
Only if you're playing the PS4 version which is Scholar Of The First Sin, if you play the original PS3 version the official servers were shutdown at the end of March.
13:45 Torch is a key item, run's legitimate mate
You can do what you want, but I recommend you drop 10 at a time. It's a bit less laggy that way
Doldonius is a real one fs.
Rip ds2 servers thankfully shadow of the erdtree is coming soon
I certainly don't miss weapon durability in elden ring.
I may have been the greatsword boi
idk if you're still looking at comments but as soon as i saw the title i immediately thought the main issue in the run would be getting upgrade materials, but you never mentioned them at all so did you just get a huge stack of all of them? fun video btw, not seen your channel before
I got quite lucky with a few of my upgrade material drops, especially in my early trades. I mentioned at 19:35 that I got some upgrade materials but I did cut that clip short for time admittedly, those small stones have a great chance to give upgrades!
@@KlyeKlyeKlye that's cool i didn't know that. im tempted to try this myself but i know i'd feel compelled to do all bosses and i really don't fancy the dlcs without heals lol
@@aldrichunfaithful3589 You might get lucky with your drops, you never know! Shalquoir will be your best friend, that's for sure 😛
Nah took me like 10+ try’s to beat last giant. Got gud eventually though! Now it takes me zero try’s to beat last giant because now I just play Bloodborne lol
damn u suck
Bloodborne is a 10/10 game so I don't blame you!
Edit: How about a run where you have to become the boss you just defeated.
Ayup? I sense a midlands boy in the building
Halloumi is the best cheese, correct.
3:20 Ayo
You dont get fists through the crows and you start with the torch, so whats the difference
I like the way you talk.
Bro you're crazy for playing on PS3/Xbox360
Id say to burn the windmill isnt bending your rules
5? I thought getting dragon rider to go for a swim was 6 steps?
5 worked for me the next time, but I guess it depends on when he goes for the attack! Someone else said 7 so who knows 😅
I am waiting for Klye to run Stellar Blade!
Eve needs a bigger bunda before I'm willing to spend £70 on that!
@@KlyeKlyeKlyeThe gameplay is surprisingly good and so is the final level. Story is kind of good. The ending and the twist was well worth it as well. Adam and Eve who would have known?
It’s the end of an era man. Those Xbox days will be missed
God this run looks rather...painful
It was hard and relied a lot on luck, but the fact that every run doing this could be *slightly* different makes it an interesting concept for me, I enjoyed it...Mostly.
I love crow ❤ 🐦⬛
the game can only have up to 30 items in the worls. the start getting overriten past that
Not sure about that one, I dropped 99 prism stones and got 99 rewards, perhaps because they're "rewards" given to me rather than items I've dropped (since they disappear immediately when the trade occurs) it bypasses that limit and that's why the game starts to get gradual lag.
