    Even if he doesn't win again, #19 or #20, he will still go down on top and will have most likely rested his case as the greatest of all time, I don't know if Nadal or Djokovic will ever catch Federer's #18.

      36, 37? I don't want to see Rafa breaking his legs on court.

      The question isnt if he stays healthy, its IF the new gen doesnt get any better and its clear they are improving and have proven they are great contenders. You cannot also forget Stan, Novak and Andy. I bet Nadal wont get any better and its just downhill from here. He largely depends on his endurance, and endurance fades away as you age. Federer relies more on his technique, thats why he still can win a Major.

    • @maragathm
      @maragathm 7 років тому +1

      Definitely Djokovic is not going to do it he looks like he is going to retire soon. Rafa can but I think the kind of game he plays is very hard on his body so I don't know how long he will stay healthy.

    • @delshandheldgames
      @delshandheldgames 7 років тому

      Mirthula Govindaraj Djokovic is in a dip compared to his amazing form a year or so ago but he will definitely win more slams. Don't count him out. Don't think he or Nadal will catch fed now though.

    • @surfinDelMar
      @surfinDelMar 7 років тому

      Col Conno I don't think Nadal will win another French nor another major. His last French was in 2014, other last GS was 2013 US Open.

      Jessie Chan Same here I cannot stop feeling the emotions and the tears naturally flow from my eyes. Just to think that since Wimbledon 2012 we have waited 4.5 years. 3 grand slam finals lost during that stretch to Djokovic and now after coming back from 6 month injury, beating 4 top 10 players in this tournament and 3 of them in 5 sets, beating his kryptonite Nadal in the final after being down 3-1 in the final set. It is just unbelievable. The emotions of this match r just the best I have ever felt. I cannot forget this moment ever.

    "I had them on Face Time, or Skype, or whatever you call it..." - I guess that's the proof right there of Roger's age, and why this win is all the more impressive. Rafa played great too. Nice to see the two oldest players in the tournament roll back the clock and remind everyone why they are legends.

    If you were Rafa in that situation, what else would you do? You've got no choice but to challenge it. Rafa shrugged his shoulders as if 'why not, I can challenge, what other choice do I have, even though the call is probably right?'. The ball was well in and right on the line but I'm sure Roger would've challenged that if he were in Rafa's shoes.

    Federer's wrong when he says it's a good thing Nadal didn't play the point because it was never called out to begin with. If it was called out and Nadal made a play for the point, and it was reversed as "in" they would have had to reply the point.
