Can you do a video about if a green tree monitor is right for you? There are videos that go over it but for many reasons I think you would have a more valuable input. That and I can never get enough of your monitor.

I REALLY love that idea how you made some branches sturdy and some that can’t support his weight so he’ll have to think on what to do next, really stimulates him, I can’t believe how you make so many good ideas for this monitor, good on you!

Cute little friend. Well, you could show how a typical day is like for Sabzy (if there are routines like when he is fed and where he hangs out most often etc.). And you said he is very intelligent, so maybe you can show us what he has learned so far.

Hope you're well and Sabzi too! Not only does he appreciate the upgrade but so do I! Lockdown's...hard... If you were to make a future Sabzi vid, then I'd LOVE a care vid, lol. However you did tell me you don't like making care guides due to everyone's personal opinions and preferences, so maybe the next best thing? A walkthrough of day to day life of Sabzi, just basically what you do for him. (I guess it kind of is like a care Guide, maybe just maybe you're more comfortable doing that). Stay safe!

If you want to try some plant species that can do well with tree monitors try ficus varieties. They are really hardy and grow fast so they can withstand the constant harassment of monitor claws better than most. For my own setup I have Ficus benjamina (weeping fig), Ficus alii (bamboo/long leaf ficus) and Epipremnum aureum (golden pothos). It's great that you added some more climbing structure in the setup as they really will take advantage of that!

My only issue is I’m not a fan of using F. benjamina for this enclosure and that’s the only species you can find small enough commercially for this sized enclosure. I’d really like to use Ficus alii once I build his adult enclosure. Many thanks and keep up the great work! It’s definitely crossed my mind but this isn’t something I’ll be considering until I can accurately confirm he is in fact a he and that he is moved into his future 6x2x6 ft enclosure. I’ll likely raise a young female separate and condition her to be tolerant of me the same way before attempting any sort of introduction. I go back and forth as I don’t need to but it would be incredible owning a pair and having the opportunity to reproduce them.

I’ve seen many instances in which a male and female do very well together, they tend to do fine in opposite sex pairs. I think when introduced from a younger age pairs tend to cement easier.
