Sabzi is very happy with his new vivarium! Hope you guys enjoyed watching me set it up! Thanks so much for watching and don't forget to respond to today's question of the day!
Can you do a video about if a green tree monitor is right for you? There are videos that go over it but for many reasons I think you would have a more valuable input. That and I can never get enough of your monitor.
I know you just got your first monitor and I think you should take some time to breath but do you think you will get any more monitors and if so what kind
I have one coming and I have the same cage. how do you avoid melting the plastic from the heat bulbs? can you send a link of the bulb you use for day and the heat source you use at night?
@@whoknowsgoi what enclosure is that ?
Thats a GREAT looking monitor!!!
Thank you very much!
I REALLY love that idea how you made some branches sturdy and some that can’t support his weight so he’ll have to think on what to do next, really stimulates him, I can’t believe how you make so many good ideas for this monitor, good on you!
Thank you very much! I thought it would be beneficial!
My favorite of your vids are the ones about your green tree monitor
Cute little friend. Well, you could show how a typical day is like for Sabzy (if there are routines like when he is fed and where he hangs out most often etc.). And you said he is very intelligent, so maybe you can show us what he has learned so far.
Thanks for the great video topic suggestions! ☺️👍🏼
Who ever disliked this sort your life out this guys great
Haha thank you. That’s always gonna happen- you get used to it 🙃.
Reptiliatus I think ur great and u clearly love your animals and give them the best lives they can wish for u are my favourite UA-camr don’t give up 👍
Aidan Cooper I have 2 dislikes on my most popular video😂
"Grr i didnt come here to see vivarium upgrades or green tree monitors!!! Grrrr" 😠
Amazing set up, I would love to see a Green tree monitor care guide
Great looking monitor and the enclosure looks so much better! I thought it was fine before the redo but everything you did REALLY made a difference. Good job and Sabzi is lucky to have you!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
wow he really is smart. i might get one of these in the future. I really like reptiles that have some personality like terribilis darts or bearded dragons. A monitor is truly a dream pet for me too. Just for the intelligence alone. A green tree monitor is has such vibrant colors i freakin love it
These monitors are like A bird of the reptile world...And I like it
CrazyChaos_ very smart animals!
Reptiliatus yes very
Reptiliatus I always wanted one but how much was the monitor?$1,000?
Ive been thinking about getting a green tree monitor for a while now. These videos are such a help in preparing. Love the content!
you really give it your all thats so satisfying to see sabzi is lucky to have you:)
Thank you so much! ☺️
What a beautiful monitor
Love the new set up. Glad his fingers are healing well. I was wondering how he was doing with his treatments and such.
Thank you kindly! Yes, his fingers are fine now! He still uses them to try and grip he just does have nails on them 😌. I’m just happy to see him still have tactile function with them and his treatments have been done for a few months so he is well! Thanks for the concern and care!
@@Reptiliatus Absolutely. Green tree monitors are a dream reptile of mine as well, so I always love seeing your videos on Sabzi. Though I'm not sure if I'll be cut out for one for a while.
really beautiful animal and you are an amazing keeper.
Awesome little fella that monitor
Awe he was so happy with the new enclosure
Indeed! It’s so rewarding to see how he explored!
Gorgeous job on that! You used the full, three-dimensional space really well.
Many thanks! I certainly did my best for my little green guy haha.
WOWWWW! He has gotten so big!! Have you had the chance to weigh him? How big will he eventually get? I really loved seeing him climb onto your hand towards the end, you have clearly put a lot of work into making him feel safe!
He is huge! I def need to weight him soon actually 😅. yes he is getting great but it certainly takes work!
Fantastic!!!!!!!!! Handsome Rep!!!! Did you mention that the breeder you got him from also has Blue tree monitors??? Keep up the good work!
man the personality on these guys are so cool
Great video! I learned a lot from this
He is such a beautiful little fella 🥺✨
Hope you're well and Sabzi too! Not only does he appreciate the upgrade but so do I! Lockdown's...hard... If you were to make a future Sabzi vid, then I'd LOVE a care vid, lol. However you did tell me you don't like making care guides due to everyone's personal opinions and preferences, so maybe the next best thing? A walkthrough of day to day life of Sabzi, just basically what you do for him. (I guess it kind of is like a care Guide, maybe just maybe you're more comfortable doing that). Stay safe!
A care video would definitely be awesome! I agree with you on this one!
Thanks for the suggestion man! I’ll def consider this!
TY 🙂
Fantastic!
thanks!
I love these videos about sabzi it has been very educational thankyou
Thank you so much! I’ll be sure to keep them coming!
The enclosure looks great. I know the bird house is needed but I think it doesn't look verry natural and distracts from the general aesthetic of the vivarium. So my suggestion would be to create a more naturalistic humidity hide. 😊
I just found ur channel today I am totally loving what u do!!!
Looks great!
Thank you!
Great job.
Thank you!
I think he loved it. Great video
Thank you very much ☺️🙏🏼
That lizard is beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!
Reptiliatus can I ask a question? My bearded dragon Zeke has been gray and has had stress marks for the pass few week and randomly tonight he turned to a brownish color and his stress marks a gone! I’m happy and kinda confused
Awesome video his enclosure looks super great 😁👍
Thank you very much!
Love it nice work
Thank you ☺️
great job on the enclosure and the video
Thanks so much!
Holy heck I want one
So beautiful monitor dude !!!!
Thank you very much!
Beautiful lizard
Thank you so much!
wow I am loving this setup and that monitor looks so good! I gotta stop binge watching these videos. I am already building a setup for my first new lizard (tokay gecko) in a long long time, and already want to look into a green tree monitor in the future now haha.
Love the channel,good stuff bro.
Thank you very much!

I’d love to see an awesome natural custom foam background for him one day
His care!!
A day in the life of Sabzi and the history !
Great idea! Thank you!
Would love to see a food comparison video on what he will eat! Keep it up!
Great idea! Many thanks!
Great setup! Where did you get your cork panels?
Beautiful guy!
Thanks very much!
I would like to see more about what the natural habitat is like and how they live in the wild
Looks amazing! Those thinner branches/vines are so cool. I really need to get some of those for my crested gecko. No video requests! Just anything! PS: last night I set up that same greenhouse that you’d built in an older video and I love it. It’s going to be an amazing place to keep higher-light plants through the long dark Canadian winters.
Thank you very much! That’s awesome! Hope you love it! They are super nice to have aren’t they?!
Reptiliatus so nice, so cheap, so easy to put together! And that top shelf placed higher makes room for plants on moss poles. I used a light meter to see how much light the plants were getting from LEDs in each shelf and it was better than what they were getting from my north window.
I really like that monitor
Me too! 😉
He's so beautiful
Many thanks!
Hey! Just subbed. Super cool content! Can you do like a full care guide for a green tree monitor? These guys are sooooo cool!!!
Hey great video where do you get your branches and vines and all that from
❤️
Great video I’m new and I like how you had the set up before but now it looks fantastic 🦎 can you tell me where you got your backgrounds from please?
Thats a really cool lizard and tank and all but how do you clean the poop?
Nice tank man! Let me know where get you get the background?
What did u use on the back of the enclosure I freaking love it
If you want to try some plant species that can do well with tree monitors try ficus varieties. They are really hardy and grow fast so they can withstand the constant harassment of monitor claws better than most. For my own setup I have Ficus benjamina (weeping fig), Ficus alii (bamboo/long leaf ficus) and Epipremnum aureum (golden pothos). It's great that you added some more climbing structure in the setup as they really will take advantage of that!
Spectrum Vivaria wow I’m a big fan! saw your post on reddit and I like how helpful that vine tutorial was!
@@jameso17 Glad your enjoying the videos so :) More to come!
Thank you kindly for the recommendations friend! I’d definitely like to do this. My only issue is I’m not a fan of using F. benjamina for this enclosure and that’s the only species you can find small enough commercially for this sized enclosure. I’d really like to use Ficus alii once I build his adult enclosure. Many thanks and keep up the great work! Your videos are fantastic and I’m seriously considering using your tutorial to build Sabzi’s adult home
@@Reptiliatus No problem and thank you! It means a lot to see people appreciating the videos especially other creators. Feel free to DM me on Instagram if you want to bounce some ideas off me for your setup etc anytime!
Hey. Great job. What is the make and size of the enclosure?
he is so beautiful oh my goodness
Thank you!
Hey there- where did you get the big bark trunks and the cork walls? Also - I’d love to take your opinion on how to build the habitat for my monitor (which I am not exactly sure what kind he is...)
I agree
Agree with what ☺️?
Could you make a video of the mixing of your substrate?
Sabzi trying to solve puzzles
You know it!
Hey man, been scrolling through your varanus prasinus videos.
Have you got an in depth video on husbandry? Thanks
How did you get him to get the cricket from your hand that's sick when he jumped for that 👊
Reptiliatus how hard would it be to care for a green tree monitor?and what kind of temperature do you need for them? as I have a corn snake already but I’m sure a green tree monitor is a bit different 😁really like the vids keep em up 🙌🔥
I saw in the intro rubbermaids with ferns housing dart frogs. Is there a video on it. I'd like one for some dart frogs.
Great Video! Would love to see his behaviour around you and how you handle him :3
Great suggestion! Thank you!
You should do a video where you try to target train Sabzi I think that would be cool to see how it go’s
Down the road that would be quite neat, I agree! Thank you!
We're do you get them amazing cork bark tubes
Everyone should sub to this man. Also what are you going to do with him when he gets 2 ft +
Probably something like this ua-cam.com/users/SpectrumVivaria
Thanks for the love! I’m already planning on working with a company to build a 6ftx2ftx6ft enclosure for him :).
Yes these vivarium designs he makes are actually stunning. I’ve considered building one.
Hey bro I’m getting one in a couple days what are the best enclosures for them and I’m getting a juvenile also
You have a great setup, I have an Ackie monitor but I wanna get a baby tree monitor! I do have a question? I have a 36"H×18"D×36"L enclosure with two Parasina Gastropholis (green keeled bellied lizards) I was told a green tree monitor could cohabitate with them. Is this true?
Do Green Tree Monitors need calcium and other vitamin dustings of their food like most non-snakes do?
How much did everything cost in total as I’m looking to get one
More Sabzi videos!
Will do!
I keep getting unsubbed from your channel!! This is the 3rd time it has happened and it's getting super frustrating. :( UA-cam please fix yourself!!
Amazing video as always - Sabzi is absolutely gorgeous! Hope to see more of him in future.
Anyway you can link what enclosure that is ?
You should get a black tree monitor!
haha those are stunning but I would see myself getting a female green tree down the road before I'd get a different species.
For video ideas how about some enrichment videos they are very smart and can work out dog treat toys as well as puzzle feeders that you can get :)
Great ideas! Thank you!
I think you should take some of the big ones out
I appreciate your advice but honestly he uses all of it. I don’t think any of the wood is too much. He enjoys laying on the cork rounds but does lots of acrobates throughout the day on the other vines, etc ☺️. Thanks for watching’
What are the dimensions of his cage? I love this enclosure and plan on making/getting something similar for a blue tree monitor.
I know I’m late but if it helps a Blue Tree Monitor might need something a little bigger. A 4x2x4x feet enclosure is a minimum but if your looking for a minimum you might not want a monitor
Enrichment videos, like the ones where they drill holes in logs and hide food in them so they have to be dexterous to get it and stuff
Great suggestion! Thank you!
What's the bird house for??
Looks a little cluttered. I'd take that big log in the middle out and more plants. But thats just me. It still looks good bro.
Can u share how to deal with ants. I use chalk, mints, etc. but they're still coming to my reptile enclosure.
He Is Freaking Cute!!!💜💜💜 How big will he get??
Any plans to get him a female and try your hand at breeding these guys in the future? 😃 would love to see more CB available in the hobby!
I've considered it! We shall see in the future :). Thank you for watching!
I'm watching on my tv and on my phone
You da best ☺️🙏🏼
What size exoterra is this? Does anybody know?
36”x18”36 (inches)
you should make a feeding video
Great idea!
Yay I was the 100th like
Cool! Thanks for watching/liking! ☺️👍🏼
Are you thinking about a mate?
It’s definitely crossed my mind but this isn’t something I’ll be considering until I can accurately confirm he is in fact a he and that he is moved into his future 6x2x6 ft enclosure. I’ll likely raise a young female separate and condition her to be tolerant of me the same way before attempting any sort of introduction. I go back and forth as I don’t need to but it would be incredible owning a pair and having the opportunity to reproduce them.
Why do I only like expensive lizards?
Can we get a "dynamic" work count 😂
in my country, prasinus have become one of the variants that have been protected by law😭
Are you planning on getting the cute lil guy a companion?
I don't think you can cohab them
I’ve seen many instances in which a male and female do very well together, they tend to do fine in opposite sex pairs. I think when introduced from a younger age pairs tend to cement easier.
@@aedanfraley1516 OK I've just researched it a bit and your right. I now think it would be realy cool for him to get another one to live with
