Really helpful, thank you!!!!
Hello, love this video, very informative, down to earth and it’s made me even more excited for my course starting in January. I never had the opportunity to study further when I was younger, I promised myself one day I will! My daughters and husband have degrees so why can’t I!?
Love your chatty style, so I’ve subscribed! ☺️ I also love knitting and collecting wool 😂
Take care
Love Michelle 😘
That's amazing! Go for it and enjoy! Thank you for your comment it's very kind xx
Starting U116 in Feb! thanks for the video :D
Hi, I'm going to be starting the open university this October and I love watching peoples reviews and tips on it 😊 this video is really helpful thank you 💜 I see you have a box of knitting in the background which I love! I also have a box brimming with unused wool 😂 I knit a lot of scarves and blankets (simple things 😂)
Good luck! I'm so glad it has been helpful 😊 I am a massive knitter as well. That isn't even the full collection..... 😬 I'm trying to get back into knitting regularly and bought a whole load more yarn in a previous video. Oops!
I plan to start an open degree this year and get credit transferred from a HND I did recently!! This is useful. Thanks
Aw good luck! It's an experience. I'm glad that it helped!
Your videos have been so helpful! Taking the OU plunge myself studying english language and literature
Ooooo congrats! I hope you enjoy your course I loved English language and literature at a level! Xd
@@shabscorner2341 currently I’m nervous and anxious about it!
Ah don't be nervous, you will be absolutely fine! You are always welcome to message me on Instagram if you need a chat. Are you studying full time or part time?
@@shabscorner2341 part-time around being a full time stay at home parent homeschooling an 8 and 6 year old! After watching your videos yesterday I went and followed you on instagram!
You have got a lot on your plate from the sounds of it but I promise you it is doable and you will be absolutely fine! X
Hi I am currently studying my first year full time doing two modules with the ou I am studying e102 an introduction to childhood studied and child psychology and k101 an introduction to health and social care. with regards to the assessment guides k101 comes with the assignment guide like the one you showed but e102 it is online so each assignment I print out because I like highlighting it and adding notes, also with regards to material e102 is the same as your first year example with a book to read and activities online but with some weeks fully online like policy weeks and studying weeks, k101 is books for each block with activities both in them and online and it also has a resources book with case studies in that you need for some of the activities.
I think every course is different and this is why I thought I would put this comment so people can see how modules differ
Good luck with your assignment I am currently waiting for two back so I know how nerve wracking it is waiting and good luck with your future studies 😃
Hi jade, thank you for your comment. I was very conscious that each course is different did disclaim in the video that this is my experience with the OU. Thank you for commenting about how your course works it's so interesting to hear how different ones are structured. 2nd year amps up a bit for the psychology course so you are right it's very stressful! Good luck with the scores on your assignments!
