OMG this was such a fun tutorial to watch! Love the way you used both wigs and your natural hair to show-as you-go the before, during and after results❤
So far you have been my favorite teacher. Just recently, by accident, I found out I have wavy (not straight) hair. Because of your explanations and demonstrations, I am actually learning how to rethink how to work with my own hair rather than fight with it constantly. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I needed to get a refresher on curling hair (I hve not curled mine in a long while) and this helped explain some of my methods I use. I usually start from the ends and work my way up, and now I understand why it is better(and different) to start at the roots. I am using this info for a video I am working on. Thank you again!!
This video is life for me. i'm from portugal and there isn't no tutorials in portuguese, plus the culture of natural curly hair here is zero . i have to watch everything in english and it's hard most of the times because i have to search everything that is said to fully understand it. so, for me, to have a video like this, explaining everything, with time and showing with a closer look the process it's a huge help. thnak you so much and please, continue. i need it lol
So glad I watched your demo's. Girl God sent you by. My niece was trying to explain so she told me to google it. You Rock, Will try after returning from the doctor. 💃💃💃
Wow this was a incredible video, loads of effort I can see u put in. It is very helpful cuz u even showed each style with straws, the rods and bigger rods in a very organized manner, love it ❤
Hello, this video was very helpful to me. I am transitioning from processed hair and braids. But in the process I am finding that there are some that looks cuter on than others, and it’s not for me. My niece suggested that I do straw curls and she was not too familiar with doing them. However viewing your video helped us with guidance on how to do what size curls and what their results look like. Thanks very much. 💯💯💯
Something that would be of help is the quantity of hair or length of hair to add on a particular rod or straw. Also how to maintain the curls when going to bed.
You are so welcome! I usually use the size of the roller as guide for quantity. If it's 1 inch in diameter, that's how much hair I get or less. Also, I sleep with a bonnet. Some people pineapple their hair in a high puff. I simply pull it out of my face and tie a loose puff. I'll include my routine in next month's filming schedule.
Love this video ! For the elongated curl that start at 5:35 after how long should you take out the straw . And also , what else can you use if you don’t have moose or can you do without ?💗
Fantastic tutorial! Question..are you using hot water? If so how long should the hair stay in the water? If it's air dried how long should the straws stay in the hair?
For hot water, I'd say leave it for 30 minutes then allow it to completely dry before removing. For air drying, it should take 8 hours give or take for the curls to set.
My curl pattern used to be similar to the 4th one but due to heat damage from straightening it too much and using bad hair products, it has lost its curl and bounce, I’ve missed it a lot so I’m very happy I found this video. Thanks
Hi there, awesome video!🥰 I have rather straight hair, if i wanted to do a perm do you think it would work with this straw method or could the chemicals react with the plastic?
Use a hydrating leave-in followed by a mousse with hold when curling your hair. Use anti humidity sprays to delay reversion. Also, use a scalp serum with a nozzle tip so you can moisturize without disturbing your curls.
These tips should help. Pineapple your hair at night, sleep with a bonnet, shower with a plastic bag to avoid humidity, and lightly oil your hair to prevent frizz from humidity.
I don’t get how the bobby pin holds it? I feel it’s not even clipping the hair to be able to stay? Because it’s going in the holes but the hair is wrapped around the outside?
I love that you show how it looks like on natural hair👍👍
Thank you 💖
I LOVE TWO ❤️ and I Do AGREE 💞 😊 👍 💯

You can use a styling cream if you don't have mousse. I usually allow my curls to dry overnight. 8 hours should be more than enough.
Love, love, love! Thank you ❤❤❤

this video is amazing im going to try all these methods. does this work for men? which technique do u think would be best for thick 3c type hair?
Awesome! I think it depends on what type of curl you are looking to achieve.
@@PureEstrogen pretty curly/tight not loose. do u have any videos about rubberband method?
How long can be stay? One night or dry with fan?
Either is fine. If you're in a rush, use mousse. It can dry in a few hours.

Hi there, awesome video!🥰 I have rather straight hair, if i wanted to do a perm do you think it would work with this straw method or could the chemicals react with the plastic?
I'm not sure, but it's always a good idea to test the perming solution on a straw first.
What are you using in your hair when you pull and it gathers up on the top of your head? Please.

@@PureEstrogen sadly they didn't work.
I don’t get how the bobby pin holds it? I feel it’s not even clipping the hair to be able to stay? Because it’s going in the holes but the hair is wrapped around the outside?
I don't either, but it works.

Flexi rods work too. If you have some.
Does this work on hair that's like 4 inches
Yes, it does.
Thanks
You're welcome.
This whole video 💥👏💕🤟💯👍
Thank you!
My favourite is the elongated one that uses a single straw. Reference : 5:40
Yes, it's very pretty.
3:22 or 6:25 That’s the hair I want, lol
How long to you leave the straws in your hair for???
lol. I keep them overnight (8+ hours), or sit under a dryer for 30 minutes to an hour depending on the styler that I use. Mousse dries quickly.
Would this work with 4c hair?
Yes, they work with all hair types.
Omggg thxx bby 💖
