That moment when your natural hair is just like the final fixed version but you just straighten your hair every single day so it looks like kayley’s natural hair
No one likes what they’re born with 🤦🏻‍♀️
Update: a year later, I enjoy and love my curls more than ever! I rarely straighten my hair anymore now that it’s a bit longer (past my shoulders)

@@taylorgayhart9497 more than likely you have curls too if your mum has curls and your hair is a frizzball/"naturally messy" try looking up the curly girl method to see what i mean

Hege Valle I’ve done it! It somewhat works, but it depends on the humidity, what products I use, how my hair is feeling that day, and if mercury is in retrograde. Every time I wash it my hair does something different.

    • @galli0
      @galli0 5 років тому +6

@@taylorgayhart9497 feel you 🤣 i have the type of hair that if i wash it like a regular person and just let it air dry you kinda see floff and a bit of waves, but if i try and do the scrunchie method and the plopping i get a tiiny but of definition.. and then i touch it when its dry and its gone.. i did try a range of products from a hairdresser (i told them what i wanted) but it was just so insanely heavy on my hair i never felt it got clean.. so i figured i probably dont have curly hair... but having seen a few more videos, ive just realised that my white bleached hair is probably just too dead to hold a curl even with legit 100 dollars of products..

I have tried straw curls before and I absolutely loved the tight curls and I couldn't stop touching my hair. But I didn't get close enough to the roots, so I'm especially thankful for the tip for that problem. My hair is very thin and naturally very straight, so I had like two inches next to the part that were completely flat and then my hair became super big. I did this weird half up-thing so that I didn't look too dumb when I left the house. Idek why I told this unnecessary story, lol. The way I slept on them was that I basically did pigtails where I twisted the curls around each other and that gave me a much softer curl the next day.

It's so good to have you back, I've missed watching your tutorials, they are amazing. I was wondering if you could do a video with tips and tricks to deal with hair that's been in chlorinated water. I've been getting back into swimming recently and it always feels gross afterwards, do you have any tips to deal with that?

I sent my husband to the corner store for straws specifically to curl my baby hairs into ringlets. I told him I wanted plastic, but all he could find was paper. I’m just happy to see that you tested paper straws with this method. My hair doesn’t respond well to hot styling methods, but does wet set nicely.
I’m guessing paper straws will actually help the hair dry a bit faster, as the paper will absorb some of the water.

My natural hair texture is exactly like your final look (after the water trick) - but mine are longer. Long story short: Does the silk scarf trick work for longer hair as well? Because I always find my hair suuuuper tangled after sleeping when my hair wasn't braided for the night... And I still haven't figured out how to air dry them (unbraided) without having a frizzy tent on my head

OMG I looooove it ♥ I was born with straight hair, then hormones make it super curly and now it's straight again and I miss it. This could be a good way to go :D
And love the tricks of next day and how to fix it if it went wrong.

You're a mind reader! I'm sitting with mini flexi rods in my hair and you uploaded this just in time for me to style them like you did lol
Thank you for the great tutorial and tricks!

So happy to see you back. Could you do more videos of work hairstyles for us girls that HAVE to have our hair up? Ive tried the ones you’ve showed before but they don’t handle the 36 hrs shifts very well...

Are you a nurse? Anyway, whatever job you have to 36 hours at, YOU ARE MY HERO ❤ Missy Sue has many bun hairstyles, and if you don't make them "messy", I imagine they'd be very longliving 😊

LOVE this video Kaylee, you look beautiful as always!! I have very straight, THICK, silky Asian hair; this looked so fun and I wanted to try, but I'm not sure how well it will work??

This seems like the same kind of process as rag curls!

I’ve been binge watching your videos over the past few days I’m obsessed 😍😂 I was just wondering, do you think these curls would work on a short- ish block fringe? About as long as my eyebrows haha XD I’ve been wanting to try this for a while but I just have no idea what to do with my fringe 😂

LOVE this video. So many great nuggets of info! While I totally loved your “realization moment” 🤣👌🏽 I was actually blown away by your original idea of just bending the flexi rods in half and securing them with an elastic. I have thick, layered, textured hair so just pinching the rod at the ends doesn’t quite work for me. The fold in half and secure with an elastic totally does tho! Thank you so much for this!! I looooove your channel 🤩🙌🏽

Haha! Omg I'm so glad that worked for you! Tbh, I can't do the pinch on larger flexi rods, only with these little ones. Maybe I should try the fold with the bigger ones!

You look SO adorable with those curls! This looks shockingly like my natural curl pattern hahahaha, at first when I saw this video recommended I thought it was from one of my curly girl method channel subscriptions lol.
