    You are so creative. I never thought African threading could produce so many different types of curls. I'll try the reverse Bantu knot on of these days, for a special occasion.

    This came out beautifully but seems so time consuming. I get similar results using flexi-rods or bantu knots and air drying. This is useful if you have to sleep while letting your hair dry.

      Yeah, I always allow my hair to dry overnight, but I wouldn't do this if I was going under a dryer.

    I tried African hair threading to stretch my hair before and I loved the outcome. I want to try curling my hair with it now. 😊 Like I've said before you are the curl queen. I will be trying the Bantu knots.

    I just tried this on my daughter's hair tonight and it works beautifully! She has box braids with purple yarn in her hair about midway down her back and I did not think the yarn would curl to be honest but this really really worked. THANK YOU HON!

    Love this vidéo very interesting will surely try reverse Bantu knot since the actual Bantu knot usually looks terrible on my hair , will also try Corkscrews curl never knew it my work on my natural hair

    What kinda thread did you use? The sewing thread appears to be to thin, and it was hard for me to take it out cause I couldn't get it off the ends.

      I left them in overnight (8 hours). They were dry in less than half the time. Mousse dries quickly.

    Does this work on human hair? Do you have to apply product or can you just skip it before wrapping it in thread? Don't like the hardness that mousse leaves on the hair

      Yes, it works on human hair. It works best if you apply product, but you can skip the products. Try using a light styling cream instead of mousse.
