- This is the short version of our film about the response from Los Angeles firefighters to the tragedy in New York and Pennsylvania on 9/11/2001. Within minutes of the first tower being struck, the City of Los Angeles went to work, initially to establish appropriate security in the event LA was a target, and then to provide support to first responders in NYC. The long director's cut DVD and Blu Ray DVD will be available shortly in exchange for a donation to MySafe:LA.

Thank you all Firefighters, regardless who you work for, 9-11 touched us all in many different ways. I was a New York guy living in Kansas City, Missouri, that day, and to this day, I still have many of a day where as soon as I see the images, I cry. I cry because of the loss of so many fine firefighters that day, as well as police officers and people as well. God bless all of you firefighters, where ever you duty station is.
This is the reason why i became a firefighter in the FDNY. I am willing to give it all up to save a life.

What happened to the K9's that inhaled the dangerous dust? I know that almost all first responders in Manhattan were seriously affected by it.

Well thank you we love our firefighter heros, you guys are angels on earth thank you 😇🐾🙏🚒🐈🌠🔥🌻🐕🚒🌲🐝so sorry you guys lost all of your firefighter brothers and sisters, I remember that day e actually where I was in riverside at my apartment right before I bought house near fort tejhon
@FederalQsiren I know of at least one dog who contracted many different kinds of cancers after working at Ground Zero, and the video for that dog is on here. If you want to watch it let me know and I'll send you the link. But according to that I think that most of the dogs working there contracted the same illnesses many of the responders got.
