  • In this video I will show you how to replace front sway bar links and bushings on a Jeep Cherokee. This process is also the same for the Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ and Jeep Wrangler TJ. I will show you how to install from start to finish. If you have any other questions that the video doesn't cover make sure to comment below and I would be happy to answer.

One of the sway bar links was completely snapped on my XJ and apparently I had been driving around for a while like that. Watched this video yesterday, bought the parts today and installed as well. Thanks for the help!

Keep up the great videos. I like the way you explain the most basic things and don't assume we already know these things. As a beginning shade tree mechanic there are a lot of basic things I don't know yet.

Thanks, U resolved an issue of the pressed in end side not wanting to break loose. Just remove sway bar to hammer it out.

Had to do this to my 95 XJ Sport soon after i bought it. The only thing I did different was to soak everything with penetrating oil ahead of time. Also didn't get the right bushings the first time, so I had a bit of a squeak until I got the correct bushings. Really helped with handling and steering. Also did steering stabilizer and shocks all around. Everything else in the front was tight. Was like driving a new Jeep.
