I am solving 12-15 yr previous question for each subject including aptitude too
But many teachers who are teaching from decades says that you should not solve pyq just after finishing subject first solve questions from good sources and in the last 3 months solve pyq. What do you think about this strategy?
Honestly speaking I think solving pyq is much easier right after completing a topic than going for other sources. Idk about other people but I prefer solving pyqs just after covering a topic than going for other sources. It boosts the confidence and also if ur basics are clear u will be able to solve more than 90% pyqs of that particular topic.

But in the paid lectures, they usually teach the previous year questions after end of the topic. Then again, why separately need to go for a book. Revising of lecture notes which already taught of Previous yr Q's after the topic., is sufficient na?

I have deep learn lectures. And in the end of each chapter's lectures they make us solve all previous gate questions related to that topic.

Sir I study subjects Monday to Friday Saturday I revises with previous year question Sunday I revise completed subject with previous year question

Not me, but i always face the problem that if i follow this method, each subject takes one month and a week or so and i get tensed and lose motivation in the middle.
The first 21days is extremely hard stick for that time you'll sail then

With me its opposite, i found out that doing things in bulk helps me out, 1st learn concepts and make notes and then solve all pyq of a subject together.

Sir after PYQs of GATE and ESE, is there a need to solve any coaching's workbook questions?
AT LEAST 2/3RD OF ANY COACHING'S Workbook have pyqs only...so solving 1/3rd questions will not take much of your time..

Sir firstly thank because of you last year I get to know even 3rd Year student can apply for gate and that made me able to start at September and due to college exam delays due to covid lost a month and not able to complete whole syllabus and secure 6000 rank.
I personally have seen my mistake and have completed all the subject for 2nd attempt and also done previous year question of all.
I have a doubt I have done to one placement round and getting 4.8lac package and parents are forcing me for placement only as they say last attempt you don't score that we'll.
So what should I do as I personally feel if right now if I leave everything and only for gate would not be hard to get below 500 rank and in other side for placement can get 8lac+.
I am personally into my data science and there master make a very good case as in internship also most were rejected due to college only and also seeing there packages the difference is also very big.
So what should I take placement or gate as this time I don't want to ride in 2 boat like last time where I wasted the whole Jan month due to college and covid situation and in 7-8 the exam are also very light mainly 4 exam in total also most are very easy to crack.
If possible also give tips to make parents convince that gate is a better option.

Bhaiya is it normal to not get logic of concept based questions without any prior practice ,unless solved by the teacher? I have just started with the core subjects and have been marking that I am unable to solve the example questions given by the teacher while explaining theory. Would that automatically come to me with more practice?

Solved 2 times complete gate pyq....still i am ace it in actual exam....help me
I kept goal to complete 6 subjects of syllabus in order give try in gate 2022 exam. In ace deep learn academy they explain some previous year gate and ese questions. So I decided to revise completed subject class notes (which also contains some basics sums of previous year gate questions) and at a time completing another subject syllabus .The reason behind this is even I completed all the previous year gate questions I don't remember those all .so, after completion of 6 subjects i will do previous year questions and some other work books and finally to attend test series .I thought to do like that .At last what is my question is I'm going in wrong way sir?
This is correct, just pay attention to what I said in the “Star Marked Questions” video

Sir please recommend one brand or publication for GATE pyq EE. There are so many books out there, confused as to which one to buy!
Made easy publication is best for pyq. They cover the pyqs topicwise in a very well mannered sequence that makes the task much easier for the students to complete a topic and solve its pyqs.
